Warped view of history originates from Marxism

MSNBC intolerance - The people versus the Leftist elites

While MSNBC executives apologized for a tweet on the MSNBC twitter account that said that people on the "rightwing" hated biracial families, the responses by the MSNBC faithful to the apology showed how out of touch the Left is with reality.
Their replies to the MSNBC article were similar to the one that said "the comment from MSNBC was absolutely true." And many of them criticized MSNBC executives for their decision to apologize for the tweet and fire the person who posted it. The views of those on the Left are neither new nor progressive. They assume that the "right," meaning those not steeped in the false reality of leftist rhetoric, are all racially intolerant people who freak out at the sight of a mixed race family. Their warped view of history originates from Marxism, which is nothing more than a largely discredited 19th century philosophy. Its advocates see society as only able to progress when an elite party with a centralized national government guides us all to the "truth."

It ignores the fact that most people in the 19th century were never pro-slavery nor racist. The abolitionist movement was not just a few enlightened people. It actually gave voice to the millions who were never advocates of slavery and was common-sense thinking for those who were not indoctrinated into the slave-holder mentality. In the same way, those on the Left deny the effects of the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s. They act like the "unenlightened" rest of us can't overcome backward views without a government-based program to help us. They make believe the whole nation is one of Jim Crow laws and poll taxes. They think we have to be subject to government agencies to keep us from being racist. Therefore they put us all in the "right-wing" category, in need of re-education by the radical Left. They keep their indoctrination machinery going by flooding college teaching staff with Marxist ultra-left ideologues and then filling as many government positions with those they brainwash to enforce their utopian ivory-tower views. Putting America in two groups, the "enlightened" Left and the "right wing," anyone who espouses views other than theirs has to be in agreement with the few who actually are racist. On the other hand, they exhibit racism, maligning those of color who disagree with their out-of touch views. It's OK for them to make offensive caricatures of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, thinking they would be worthy of respect if they would only get on the plantation of Leftist ideology.
