I never want to hear The United States of America derided as a “racist country” again. Never, never again!

The President of the United States, elected by a solid majority of all Americans, is black; the Attorney General of the United States is black; the highest paid and most popular American golfer is black; the highest paid and most popular American television personality is black; the governor of New York is black; the highest paid and most popular American movie star is black; the Chairman of the Republican Party is black; the CEO if CitiBank and the former CEO of Merrill Lynch are black; the highest paid American basketball players, professional football players, and professional baseball players, are black; and the most powerful congressional committee chairmen are black. I applaud the fact that the United States has elected a black president, fulfilling the hopes and dreams that powered the long struggles for equality and recognition dating back to the War Between the States.  This is a very positive event, for our country and for the world. I never want to hear The United States of America derided as a “racist country” again. Never, never again! It is patent nonsense and an insult to the most racially inclusive and tolerant country on Earth. I never want to hear the publicity-hounding race-pimp “Rev”s claiming media time to lecture us on their victimhood. Never, never again! Those shouting “White Power” are rightly condemned, while shouts of “Black Power,” and the racist rants of Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan are tolerated, if not applauded. Why? The United States has “affirmative action” laws and “racial set-aside” laws that favor minorities in government contracting. We have spent over three trillion dollars since 1967—including what was siphoned off by the lawyers and bureaucrats---to improve the lot of American minorities! We give countless millions in federal grants to black cities and neighborhoods. The United States has given billions of dollars to cure malaria and HIV-Aids in Africa. I would, just once, like to hear some level of appreciation for our efforts. I would like just one “black leader” say “thank you” to the American people for their fairness and generosity, rather than be castigated as “a nation of cowards” on race, by the man who pardoned Marc Rich.
