Osama bin Laden, decline of America’s dominance, attack in Gaza

New Unrecorded `Statement’ to Osama bin Laden or his poseur from Canada Free Press:

According to Khaled Wassef over at CBSNews.com, Al Qaeda “boss” Osama bin Laden says the decline of America’s dominance on the world stage was one of the main factors which prompted Israel to launch its offensive in Gaza.

“The great and swift decline in America’s influence is one of the most important motivations for Israelis to wage such a barbaric attack on Gaza, in a bid to try and make use of the last days of (President) Bush’s mandate and the neo-conservatives,” bin Laden says. The Al Qaeda “boss’s” latest statement makes it easy to believe that he (or his Internet poseur) really is living in a cave. As far as Israel is concerned, the last days of President Bush have been spent very much the same way as incoming President-elect Barack Obama’s--dodging what to do about Gaza, “because there is only one president at a time”. Bin Laden worries that Mr. Bush has left President-elect Barack Obama with “two bitter choices”, and wonders aloud whether the next American leader will be able to keep up the fight against al Qaeda and other terrorist groups. “Can America keep up the war with us for more decades to come? All reports and analysis indicate that this is not possible. In fact, 75 percent of American people are happy with the departure of the president who got them into wars they could not possibly win.” Make that roughly 50 percent, Sheikh Osama Bin Laden to the Muslim Ummah, and you’ll be closer to presidential election stats. Besides the war in Iraq has already been won by American troops and the Coalition of the Willing. Bin Laden, who’s likely never heard of Barney Frank, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac worries that President Bush “drowned” the American people in economic woes and “left” his successor a difficult legacy, and left him one of two bitter choices: “The worst heritage is when a man inherits a long guerilla warfare with a persevering, patient enemy--a war that is funded by usury. If he (Obama) withdraws from the war, that would be a military defeat, and if he goes on with it, he’ll drown in economic crisis.” Uncanny, how bin Laden sees the current global situation as a good opportunity “to purge Muslim countries of Western influence...”You have a great chance now to overthrow the injustice and the tyranny that has overwhelmed you for decades.” Bin Laden also predicts that Mr. Obama will be unable to solve the economic problems facing America. But al Qaeda’s boss shouldn’t count on it. Funny how politicians can create a crisis only to solve it when a second term looms in the offing. Osama’s concern for Obama is bound to be drowned out as Washington--and according to Obama’s Transition Team, the world--is in big party mode. In a deepening, worldwide recession, Obama’s inaugural committee has raised about $27 million for his inauguration party from about 350 donors who have ponied up the maximum $50,000 apiece. Those in the paying-to-the-max group include Steve Spielberg, Samuel Jackson, George Lucas--and the George W. Bush administration for Washington party cleanup. Meanwhile, the party of all time, which includes lavish balls, jumbo video screens on Washington’s National Mall and giant parades has a President Abraham Lincoln theme. Lunch after the swearing-in ceremony will feature the foods Lincoln enjoyed. After inauguration festivities end, Obama will shuck Lincoln’s image and re-emerge as what he became on November 4, 2008--King of the World. It should be celebratory news to bin Laden that Obama intends to shut down Guantanamo the first week--if not the first day--of his presidency. Don’t worry about Obama, Mr. bin Laden, before it’s all over, we’ll all be living in caves. (Editor’s note: This statement was spellchecked against the all too easy mistake of identifying Obama as Osama).
