The day was perfect in Southampton for the second annual protest walk to “Save Our Saugeen Shores” and we showed them once again, we don’t want their toxic “Nuke Dump” here. It was heart warming to hear drivers in vehicles honking their horns, giving the thumbs up sign and people at their homes along the walk were also showing and displaying they don’t want the toxic waste dump around their lovely community.

The people of Kincardine are a willing host for a Nuke Dump, according to Ontario Power Generation article(s). Just how could any community even think of wanting such vile and deadly products around their town is beyond common sense. Are they really that naïve to believe that the company promoting “Nuclear Dumps” have the ability to never have a nuclear accident for the next what 20, 30, 40 or 1,000 years? Just look at all the horrible, truly sickening pictures on the internet and see the many thousands upon thousands of “Dead, Sick, Deformed and Dying” men women and children in Russia, Japan and so many other places in the world because of the nuclear industry. Do the people living in and around Kincardine really think they will be luckier than those other places in the world? History shows everything and anything to do with large and even small scale “Nuclear Stuff” has always ended up with a disaster. It’s time to stop filling up our world with garbage and toxic dumps sites. The time is upon us now to use real intelligence and technology to recycle, neutralize all unwanted nuclear waste and totally stop what appears to be easy money making fixes that don’t work.
