For all those poor souls hoping to catch a breath of fresh air during Canada’s widespread, still raging “out of control” wildfires, the ones exporting huge plumes of nasty acrid smoke through parts of the U.S.:Don’t count on any fresh air coming soon from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau—whose only response is a push to get his full-time job picked up and disseminated by the media. Forget government mismanagement of forestry. Blame man-made Global Warming/Climate Change.

That’s Trudeau’s story provided by his mostly bought-off—mainstream media, and he’s sticking to it like a forest tick.

This tiresome Blame Global Warming Trudeau baloney comes your way from a married man with three children who self-identifies as a FEMINIST—even though there’s no such thing; a PM who dismisses parental rights as “far right”.

So, when can all of those hoping for a breath of fresh air with summer now well on its way expect to breathe easier?

According to a “Canadian firefighter who knows what’s going on”—not until Winter.

This information comes CFP’s way from our own savvy, multi-talented cartoonist, Dag who dug up the info by just looking:

From a Canadian firefighter who knows what’s going on:

“I know you may know, but people need to know and understand that most Canadian wildfire management agencies have fire “zonation” policies similar to Alaska.
“This means in large areas of their jurisdictions, especially in the northern part of the country, wildfires are left to run their natural course with little or no direct action or suppression. We’ll protect values at risk, i.e. infrastructure, communities, critical habitat or culturally significant features on the landscape, we’ll map them and maybe try to burn them to natural barrier, fight one flank and let the rest roll (limited action) but we are not putting them out.
“On many of the fires we don’t even try. A number of these fires are huge boreal gobblers (I am currently assigned to a 250,000 hectare fire, well over 600,000 acres and you could fit the org. chart on one side of a beer can).

“The only thing that is going to put out this fire and many across the country is winter, 5 months from now.
“It’s going to be a long, smoky summer for everyone. You have a wide reach, it would be great if you can help people understand these dynamics in the Canadian wildfire scene when they’re bitching about the smoke.
Cheers and thanks.”

“Pretty decent picture of what’s going on. Thanks for the insight.
“In the industry we call this letting a fire “Do its thing”. It’s especially common in these vast boreal forests. Siberia does the same thing. Identify hazards and values at risk, mitigate, let it go.
Cheers.”

“Judi,
“”-Dag Forgot to include this link, referencing my mention of the 'National Interagency Fire Center'… This link explains the creation of this agency, relating back to 1910 and the ‘Big Blowup’ that raged through Washington, Idaho, Montana…destroying massive acres and lives… Canada apparently has ignored the knowledge garnered from that catastrophe of so many years ago…California, as well… we in my Northwest still remember.”-Dag

THE 1910 FIRES

In the summer of 1910, a devastating series of forest fires swept over Idaho, Montana, and Washington, culminating on August 20–21 in what is known as the "Big Blowup." Coming only five years after the U.S. Forest Service’s establishment, this seminal event made a deep and lasting impact on the agency. Three future Forest Service chiefs were directly involved in the Big Blowup, as were several other men who would exert influence over the agency’s fire protection policy following the fire. It pushed forest fire issues into the public discourse, and led to new fire prevention and suppression policies, policies that still influence fire management around the world today.

The first fire of the 1910 season broke out on the Blackfeet National Forest in northwestern Montana on April 29. Though District (now Region) One Forester William Greeley expressed optimism about the Forest Service’s ability to cope with the coming fire season, the young agency was undermanned, underfunded, and under-prepared for what was to come. Fires continued throughout the ensuing summer months (in fact, fires throughout the West plagued the agency), and the agency scrambled to combat them. By August, the region was experiencing drought conditions. Clarence B. Swim of the Forest Service recalled: "The late summer of 1910 approached with ominous, sinister, and threatening portents. Dire catastrophe seemed to permeate the very atmosphere..." -- More...

So there, you have it. Never trust a prime minister who self-identifies as a FEMINIST; one who continues to red flag Global Warming even though it’s mostly a media-hyped hoax, and one who poses as Canada’s Prime Minister, but who in reality, is an agent on everyday duty for ‘Professor’ Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum.

Meanwhile, keep right on digging, former Marine Mr. Dag!
