Not Even Ted Could Foresee the Dismantling of the Republic by Obama

The day we heard the word of Ted Kennedy’s passing, pundits were renaming the HealthCare initiative of the administration after his stalwart ambitions to pass a one payer system (Socialized HealthCare). If passed, no doubt his family would look at the bill as an honor, but within hours, perhaps minutes of what many will remember for a long time after his 47 years in the Senate and the tragedies the Kennedy family have faced.

As memorable as Senator Kennedy and the family have been, there is little it really adds to the fight to better our country, since the administration had already laid plans for ObamaNation. All media’s to include NBC, ABC, CBS and their affiliates have indicated, if not in exact words, this meant a re-doubled effort to pass the bill. Indeed a bill may be passed, even if not intact as Pelosi or Obama had originally envisioned it. The main trust of the administration and the Democrats has been not really on the front pages of the media, it’s showing up in the marriage of the “Obama for America” pre-election effort and the “Democrat National Committee” forming the OFA (Organization for America) it’s just now beginning to raise an ominous head, referred to as a grass roots organization - it is anything but. The OFA reported that they have organized in thirty-eight states and intend to go to all fifty. Suggestions of having planted OFA personnel in various Town Hall meetings to either bolster support or help shout down dissent of government run HealthCare as a method of building consensus are denied - but closer inspection leaves little doubt. For this so-called “Grassroots” operation, the expense has to be in the multi millions, and beyond any capability of various small, loosely knit groups to finance. In addition to (in some cases) long-distance busing, there are help wanted ads on Facebook and Craigslist that offer applicants paying jobs to help pass Obama’s HealthCare regularly running in Sacramento, San Francisco, Washington DC, and other strategic areas around the country. More of the information is available in WorldNetDaily’s column by Chelsea Schilling. Considerably more detail in the column shows the large influx of dollars. For what, HealthCare for all? To the extent that 85% of the population already have insurance (including Medicare, Medicaid and CHIPS), and the other 15% receive HealthCare at no cost when they need it - and at stake - the best overall medical care in the world. In our present economy we cannot afford it. The current system needs to be strengthened, not shredded. What is really at risk here is not HealthCare, but the symbol of a larger goal. At the same time the Pelosi’s, Reid’s, Obama’s look over the crowds in Town Hall meetings throughout the country there are concerned citizens. Yes, sometimes very angry citizens bring hard questions. The politicians cry, (paraphrasing) “Brown Shirts, Nazi’s and Socialist are what these mobs are calling us and these people are not even our constituents but are being brought in to disrupt!” It is at this time that a rough saying returns from my childhood, “The one who smelt it dealt it.” And the reason is clear, not that I am a conspiracy nut, but we have seen this before, and it was like the politicians claimed in the preceding paragraph. Perhaps they were looking in mirrors, or in their minds eye they themselves saw something that shocked them, also. History tells of the czars that were accountable to no one except the “Czar ”(now we have around fifty). Then we have Karl Marx, whose Communist Manifesto was used by Lenin and a form by Hitler in Germany; Stalin, with cruel harshness and silencing death in Russia, each spreading beyond their limits and infecting others. May none of this be duplicated in the United States. But one fact exists: We have quite a number in our midst who wish to see our Constitutional Republic cease to exist. The intrusion of Big Government is what they want; even to the tune of bringing us back to the days of our formation. The Founding Fathers of our government, all of them, as well as the Original Thirteen that finished ratifying our Constitution in 1788, foresaw this possibility, instituting a solution in those instructive papers. The community organizers and rabble-rousers cannot, by lack of effort, be allowed to eat away at our Rights as granted in the Constitution.
