Obama promising his base more goodies

The President wants to raise the minimum wage to $9.00? Why stop there? Why not raise it to $20.00 or $30.00?

Does this man not understand a thing about business? The increase in wages simply squeezes the small business further and results in more layoffs. Inflation will skyrocket. It also results in an increase in goods and services, thus dipping deeper into our pockets. Another result will be higher unemployment pay outs which will kill state budgets. I feel certain that the community organizing mindset is that higher wages will generate more revenue to the government. And because he's obsessed with raising revenue he has only one focus, how to do so in a way we won't notice. And, I'm sure that the lower income wager earners are applauding this recommendation. The President did, in his State of the Union speech, what he does best. He promised his base more goodies that you and I must pay for. His disrespect for the middle class knows no bounds.
