ObamaCare typecasting

War on obesity

The latest news on ObamaCare is going to create an unintended consequence which will not please Michelle with her war on obesity.

2.3 million people will find it more advantageous to cut back on their hours so they can receive subsidies for healthcare. That will give them more time to text, play video games, sleep in and chow down on Twinkies and corn chips. Or they may use their new-found free time to do more of what they do now with their non-working hours; paint a little graffiti, do a few drugs, hang out with their friends. Oh, the President would have you believe that they will be going to the park with their kids, visiting their elderly Mama, learning a new language. But how we spend our free time varies greatly and the people who will cut back on hours to get another freebie won't be the ones doing volunteer work in their church. Is this typecasting? You bet. Those who don't learn from the past are destined to repeat it. Stewart Andersen
