Obama's Bathroom Social Experiment

I imagine most adults can live with transgendered folks sharing the public bathrooms with them.

They probably already have had encounters with individuals of questionable sexual orientation in a restroom somewhere. And, I'd guess most adults are prepared to deal with inappropriate behavior in the unlikely event that it should arise. Where the real justifiable anger comes is with subjecting our children to unsafe and unsavory encounters in restrooms. And we are certainly not OK with mandates that require schools to do anything that might endanger our children - mentally, emotionally or physically. Reasonable adults are free to wrestle with the issue of whose rights trump the other. Reasonable adults can run social experiments and track statistics. Reasonable adults can look for acceptable compromises. We are in unchartered territory and the success or failure is yet to be determined. But adults should NEVER include children in those adult conversations or experiments. Too much is at stake for innocent children. Keep the social engineering out of our schools.
