Obama's EPA: Pushing Americans into Poverty
Tightening rules for alternative fuels
With total disregard for the American people, the President's budget increases spending by some 7.5 trillion dollars.
Most of us have trouble getting our brains to understand a million, much less a billion. Certainly not a trillion.
His wanton disrespect for the burden he is placing on my children, my grandchildren and generations as yet unborn makes me angry. I have seen little evidence of fiscal restraint from the Obama administration.
But I have seen ample evidence of turning the screws on middle America. We just promised the Ukraine 1 billion dollars in the same week we propose raising the premiums on our military's Tricare insurance. We are trying to raise the minimum wage while at the same time, not creating jobs for the millions of unemployed Americans.
Middle Americans are paying more for fuel and Obama's EPA is tightening rules for alternative fuels like wood burning stoves, coal and nuclear energy. And we are still pouring taxpayer dollars into green energy schemes.
This is not a man who puts action to his words. He pats Americans on the head and whispers "feel good" words, read off a teleprompter into their ears. And all the while he is doing things to push them further into poverty.
