Obama’s Stimulus Package: Chump “Change” for Americans, Trillions for U.S. Bankers & the Chinese

- Daniel T. Zanoza, Executive Director I wish I could take credit for the revelation, but I can't. You see, the other day my wife (Julie) and I were driving along I-55 between Chicago and the Illinois state capitol in Springfield. With a chuckle during our discussion over Barack Obama's latest trillion dollar spending spree, my wife summed up the new President's economic and social(ism) plan for our country. We had just heard the average American would receive a whopping $13 tax break from Obama's stimulus package. Now mind you, this bit of shocking information came after we learned there was money allocated in the stimulus package for the saving of some kind of Californian rodent, tons of cash that will end up in the hands of organizations like ACORN (which will use the money to continue to commit voter fraud by hook or crook) and a plethora of spending bills that will keep a substantial number of Americans dependent on government for generations to come.

Though I got a laugh out of Julie's next words, they rang true--as the sun rising in the morning and setting at night. She figured out what Obama meant by "change." The man literally meant hard-working Americans would get "change" while trillions of bucks would be spread around to banking institutions that will keep U.S. Senators in the black for as long as there are U.S. Senators; mandate an auto industry to build cars the public doesn't want, but environmentalists do; and transform America into a nation literally awash in debt to China--who is financing Obama's "change" of America's free market capitalist system into European socialism (or even worse) before our very eyes. As we traveled down the Interstate, we realized Obama was talking about chump "change" and tax breaks and the American people were the chumps. I had always believed our country's economic foundation was strong. Yet even the most solid structure cannot withstand earthquake-type greed, corruption and ignorance by a public who treated the election of an American president like a segment of American Idol.
