'Occasional Cortex & The Brainiacs' Having Us On?Author James Piereson, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, said it best last August: “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has emerged from the Bronx as the newest socialist celebrity and is traveling the country singing the virtues of socialism, as if no one has heard those songs before.”

Ocasio-Cortez should be called out for what this latest socialist phenomenon really is: ‘Occasional Cortex and the Brainiacs’, the brainiacs being the white-garbed Democrat women who made fools of themselves desperately clamoring for attention at last week’s State of the Union address.

“Singing the virtues of socialism”, AOC style means promising her largely millennial following free stuff.

“A unicorn in every barn farting rainbows”

According to Canada Free Press commenters, this would include “a unicorn in every barn farting rainbows”.

Problem is AOC is no joke but the best hope for socialists elected to power last Midterms to render the USA a socialist nation.

President Donald Trump who promised that America would NEVER be a socialist nation, should take the for-mentioned Piereson to heart in suggesting that ...“given our loose standards on the subject, why isn’t socialism a “hate crime”?

Even a cursory glance at how socialism has been the scourge of the earth shows how mostly hatred and human harm resonate from it.

AOC is now claiming that her crazy ‘Green New Deal Document from her own website is a fake (Gateway Pundit, Feb. 9, 2019).

Down through the ages, socialists like AOC have always played peek-a-boo games with the masses, in now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t strategies.

In this case, it is not AOC who wants to ban all air flights, and tear down every building in the U.S. before rebuilding them, but the GOP.

“The page, announcing an 8:30 a.m. launch on Feb. 7, is now gone, and a top adviser suggested Friday it was actually authored and distributed by the GOP. (Washington Examiner, Feb. 9, 2019)

“By the afternoon of Feb. 7, Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., removed the document from her website without explanation but following backlash and even ridicule over the radical plans outlined within it, including a call to “eliminate emissions from cows or air travel”—which would functionally ban the latter—and to provide “economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work.”

“The document vanished just hours after Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., formally unveiled a “Green New Deal” resolution that has so far attracted 67 Democratic co-sponsors in the House. It’s a nonbinding measure that is less detailed than the now-deleted FAQ document but calls for a complete and speedy overhaul of the nation’s energy, transportation, and farming sectors in order to eliminate carbon emissions in the coming decades.

“But on Saturday morning, chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti tweeted that the FAQ page was indeed posted by the Ocasio-Cortez staff but was done so in error. He called the page “an early draft of a FAQ that was clearly unfinished and that doesn’t represent the GND resolution got published to the website by mistake (idea was to wait for launch, monitor q’s, and rewrite that FAQ before publishing).”

Ocasio-Cortez later Saturday admitted the same, tweeting at a Washington Post reporter, “There was also a draft version that got uploaded + taken down. There’s also draft versions floating out there.”

“A policy adviser to Ocasio-Cortez, though, told Fox News Friday night that the claims were some kind of hoax perpetuated by Republicans.

“Robert Hockett, professor of law and finance at Cornell University, appearing on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” called the contents of the now-missing blog post “some kind of document that somebody other than us has been circulating.”

“Hockett said Ocasio-Cortez does not endorse the idea of paying people “unwilling to work” and does not want to ban airplane travel.

“He said Ocasio-Cortez “tweeted it out to laugh at it.”

No one other than you is laughing, AOC!

It seems that AOC and Hockett are having us on.

“As for the blog post, it has not been restored to her congressional website as of Saturday morning but is available via archive and its text saved online.

There are no new entries under the site’s “Energy Issues” section, just a picture of an oil rig, where the post once appeared. The page at the original web address for the post says “Page Not Found.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is not original but only the latest agent to push the UN’s Agenda 2030.

Her work continues today in the kickoff of the 2019 Dubai World Government Summit, held under the patronage of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, and includes the participation of seven international organizations as strategic partners—including the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, UNESCO, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the World Economic Forum, something that cannot be scrubbed from the Internet.

Meanwhile, CFP poet-pundit Tony Mangan raises the spectre of screeching harpy in the corner AOC as an effective distraction:

“Talking to my wife last evening I suggested that I believe that too much attention is being given to the absurdity of ‘Ocrazio’ Cortez and her seemingly stupid ideas, and in fact it seems like she is encouraging others, the equivalent “lost flatulence in a windstorm” mentalities to come forward and spout stupidity equal to or more stupid than that of ‘Ocrazio’.

Those who agree, are right on the money about AOC being a distraction, and it becomes more apparent every day that it’s a whole movement of Send In The Clowns, and to a great degree, too many of us (objecting Americans) have laughed and viewed it as an amusing deterioration of the anti- American Democrat party, when in fact she is the diversion while the real haters are behind the curtain reloading.”
