I have a number of friends I’ll refer to as old school Republicans. One was once the chair of a state Republican Party, one worked in the administration of a popular Republican president, one is a Republican Elector, and others have worked inside the Republican Party machine for various politicians. They have a problem that is no doubt common with old school Republicans all over America. I think people like Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and other Republican pundits are part of the old school Republican mind set.

I believe these old school Republicans have not come to terms with the reality that their daddy’s Republican Party has largely been lost to history. In 2023, most of the Republican Party has lost its way and is now firmly ensconced as one faction of the political uniparty machine that considers itself America’s ruling class. The Republican “never Trumper” swamp creatures crawled out of the Washington D.C. political swamp and destroyed the Grand Old Party with the blind hate of a man that actually did what the creatures have been promising for decades. Trump totally humiliated the professional career politicians so dramatically that the RINOs would rather cozy up with the Marxist Democrats and the globalist elites than support the President that embarrassed them so badly.
America still has a two party political system, but it is now made up of the Democrat-Republican uniparty and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) Republicans the supporters of President Donald J. Trump. The Marxist Democrat Party has been pushing the spineless Republican Party further and further left for the last five decades. Hatred for Donald Trump was the catalyst that welded the two parties into one massive uniparty political machine that would rather see America fail than prosper as it did with an outsider like President Trump.
Old school Republicans simply refuse to accept the evidence of the corrupt elections of 2020 and 2022. Old school Republicans simply can’t accept the evidence that so much of the GOP is just as corrupt as the Democrat Party. Old school Republicans simply can’t accept the evidence that the party of Lincoln has succumbed to the party of Marx to the extent that it has. Old school Republicans simply can’t accept the evidence that the MAGA Republicans are the God fearing American Patriots that the legacy Republican Party members once were.
Old school Republicans need to take a big dose of reality and get behind the only man on the planet who has already demonstrated he can make America great again. The Republican Party of Lincoln is a dead horse and no matter how much it is kicked, it ain’t coming to life again. The “never Trump” faction of the formerly Grand Old Party allowed greed, hate, and love of absolute power to suicide the legacy Republican Party. RINOs and Never Trumpers, how’s that working out for you?
