Ontario Premier Doug Ford says all Canadian political parties must be united because Donald Trump is attacking Canada

For months Mark Carney claimed Canada had the best deal with the USA and lowest tariffs.

Then after several blunders, including an attack ad in the USA against tariffs, trade negotiations were stopped. That ad was funded by Doug Ford and approved by Mark Carney.

Ford & Carney are not upset by Trump at all. They're happy to use Trump as the excuse to borrow endlessly. Ford & Carney look for emergency after emergency, so they can duck accountability, for their poor leadership.

It wasn't Donald Trump who borrowed Ontario into a fiscal disaster. It was Premier after Premier in Ontario.

Ontario has more debt per person than any State in the USA, by a wide margin.

Besides Quebec, there is no other place in North America that has doled out more corporate welfare to international & domestic companies & gotten so little in return.

You can't borrow endlessly to bribe companies to bring jobs to a Province. It simply does not work in the long term. Especially when those companies can just pick up and move to the USA, like we have seen over and over again.
