“Patriotism” to Obama—“an aggressive kind of Nationalism”

You’re too late, Obama and mercifully thousands of miles away this Independence Day; too late by far to quell in any way the sheer joy Westerners feel about Independence Day 2017 without you. Send out as many selfies as you want from Indonesia. No one, other than the Daily Mail in Britain pays much attention to them any more. You’re EX President Obama now, and only an overplayed shadow as ‘leader’ of a Resistance that isn’t working. Independence Day 2017 is the first Independence Day without Barack Obama, and quite joyfully certainly not the last one. The anti-American president who went so far out of his way not being there in any way for America, cutting off at significant personal expense any access to who he really was, is now, in all respects, really not there any more.
Obama’s advice that America shouldn’t be too patriotic, which he deviously attempts to pass off as ‘aggressive nationalism’ impresses no one, other than those in the same choir to which he always preached. Save it for Michelle, his two daughters, Valerie Jarrett, Hillary Clinton and his global elite masters because no one other than malcontents are listening in America. Before his lofty Indonesian speech on ‘too much patriotism’, the news about him was the style of his blue jeans. How far down the mighty fall when they reach the status of EX anything. Just as expected, Obama’s anti-American conduct out of office is the same as it was when he squatted on the White House for eight, interminably long years. But it’s over now and America is so much better off without him.
Barack Obama has called on the world to stand up for tolerance, moderation and respect for others – warning that sectarian politics could lead to chaos and violence. (The Guardian) “The former US president said some countries had adopted “an aggressive kind of nationalism” and “increased resentment of minority groups”, in a speech in Indonesia on Saturday that could be seen as a commentary on the US as well as Indonesia.

“It’s been clear for a while that the world is at a crossroads. At an inflection point,” Obama said, telling a Jakarta crowd stories of how much the capital had improved since he lived there as a child. “But he said that increased prosperity had been accompanied by new global problems, adding that as the world confronts issues ranging from inequality to terrorism, some countries – both developed and less developed – had adopted a more aggressive and isolationist stance.”
But Obama showed no “tolerance”, “moderation” and “respect for others” if they did not agree with his policies, and now merely projects the lack of those qualities on the rest of the world. Indonesians should have asked Obama what he did for Jakarta when he was in a position to reach out to it when he was in U.S. president. Words don’t feed babies or find jobs for disadvantaged youth.
“If we don’t stand up for tolerance and moderation and respect for others, if we begin to doubt ourselves and all that we have accomplished, then much of the progress that we have made will not continue,” he said. (Guardian) “What we will see is more and more people arguing against democracy, we will see more and more people who are looking to restrict freedom of the press, and we’ll see more intolerance, more tribal divisions, more ethnic divisions, and religious divisions and more violence.”

Missing from Obama’s grandiloquent autobiography in Indonesia and elsewhere is that he would NEVER have been where he is today without the United States of America, which he used as his personal asset. For eight long years he and his wife TOOK, TOOK, TOOK from America and gave NOTHING, NOTHING , NOTHING back. The world can know all about Obama’s $65-plus-million coming autobiography before he even writes his first word. It should be called, ’Take America’s Money and Run’. It’s about refusing to leave the presidency even after his time is up. It’s about stalking the same America that enriched him from the convenience of anonymity as a ‘Resistance’ leader doing what he’s always done: Working at taking down America by whichever means possible with utterly no shame. Independence Day this year will be all the more meaningful, Citizen Obama because it is being celebrated without you!
