Peril in the Parallels Between Politically Assassinating Trump and Killing King Louis XVI During the French Revolution

The French never got Freedom by killing their king, nor will America retain Freedom if the American citizens remain apathetic to the current political assassination of Donald J. Trump. It may seem hyperbole, but in my humble opinion, I agree with Victor Davis Hanson that America is currently going through a Jacobin Revolution. While the French Revolution is considered with respect as a great historical event that sparked the quest for Freedom for the French people, it is an illusion that the French Revolution brought Freedom to France. I’ve written a number of articles on this illusion and the recent article appeared in Canada Free Press on Bastille Day. -- Celebrating Bastille Day as France May Be Spiraling Closer to Another French Revolution

“Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity” sadly deteriorated into a reprehensible bloodbath of horror during the Reign of Terror

The Marxist-revisionists got away with portraying the glorious days of the French Revolution for quite some time, but truth eventually prevails. And, while It is undeniable that following taking of the Bastille in July of 1789, a month later in August, the people abolished feudalism; and ultimately on August 26th, the people proudly proclaimed the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen, which had been crafted by the Marquis de La Fayette in writing an initial draft. Even Thomas Jefferson had a hand in helping LaFayette with the writing. Nevertheless, it is also undeniable that the move toward Freedom in the French Revolution devolved into some of the most tyrannical unjust acts of cruelty against humanity ever committed, which included killing King Louis XVI on January 21, 1793.

Within four years of the storming of the Bastille, the initial movement toward “Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity” sadly deteriorated into a reprehensible bloodbath of horror during the Reign of Terror under the machinations of the notorious revolutionary, Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre. He led the powerful people’s tribunal known as the Committee for Public Safety that arrested, tried, and executed (beheaded via the guillotine) over 17,000 people. Stealing the French Revolution propelled the Jacobins to the forefront of a revolution for controlling France and the French people under the guise of democracy or a Constitutional Republic.

The Jacobin Party’s quest for power was essentially unquenchable

The Jacobin Party’s quest for power was essentially unquenchable--they would not even stop at murder. And when they executed the king, the effort to establish a Constitution Republic no longer existed. Freedom was not the true objective of the “Friends of the Constitution.” Jacobins used popular words and deception to redirect or steal the French Revolution and then plunge France into two more decades of internal strife and war with other nations, not to mention the tyranny under Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.

Today, the Biden Administration, under the guise of being a legitimate government, is similar to the Committee for Public Safety, in that it is threatening, intimidating, arresting, and hauling citizens into kangaroo-like courts similar to the types of French tribunals held by the Jacobins (a single political party that consolidated power through such intimidation and terror). Not long ago, Victor Davis Hanson commented on the Jacobin Revolution that America is currently experiencing. ‘We are in a Jacobin Revolution’: Victor Davis Hanson says ‘Democratic Party vanished sometime in 2020’ I do see the similarities between the tactics used by the Jacobins and the Democratic-Socialists and their Communist adherents.

Extreme hatred the Jacobins held for King Louis XVI, the rabid Democrats hold toward Trump today

The extreme hatred the Jacobins held for King Louis XVI, the rabid Democrats hold toward Trump today. Even the effort to destroy Trump through impeachment did not work, they still persecute him as a private citizen. Such tactics of intimidation work multifold in favor of the Democrat Party. First, the stench that the Democrats seek to continually attack Trump via the mainstream media derogatory treatment eventually takes a toll on the common people and the poisonous propaganda works wonders to create displeasure in people--even those who claim to support Trump. Second, the constant drumbeat of negativity aimed at Trump shakes up the GOP leadership--provided there are leaders still claiming to support Trump in the GOP-- it has the effect of further fomenting division in the GOP. Third, it adversely affects Trump’s family and takes a toll on their stamina for perseverance. Fourth, the political strategy against Trump also involves interference with Trump’s rights of free speech in this campaign year. Fifth, all of this combined undermines an impartial election, not that America’s past elections have been purely impartial.

The American citizen has been desensitized to deceit, mental manipulation and outright lies in such a formidable onslaught

Yet, despite a history of controversial elections, all of this goes far beyond politics as usual, which is where many Americans are stuck in their ability to discern the grave dangers to the American Republic. The American citizen has been desensitized to deceit, mental manipulation and outright lies in such a formidable onslaught against this one patriot. The barrage of attacks are well beyond reason, and seem essentially to provide a show for the Democrat base and a basis for justification for beating Trump no matter what the cost. All of this collectively reflects a great deal on where our culture has descended, just as French culture was flung unto the gutter by the rabid French Jacobins in throwing morality out of their quest for Freedom with their open disdain for the Catholic Church and even outright contempt toward God.

These continually politically-motivated attacks against Trump seem ultimately aimed at total destruction of his character and his capability as a citizen to positively influence the American public. In 1790s France, the Jacobins did not stop in their attacks upon the king; they moved against the people who doubted the tactics and questionable justice of the Committee for Public Safety.

Jacobin tactics persist in this day. As President Trump has stated numerous times, They're not after me they're after you...

The Jacobins labeled those who opposed them “counter-revolutionaries” and put them on trial and executed their opposition. If this seems similar to what is happening in the attacks upon Trump that has fueled more attacks upon people who support Trump and what Trump believes in and what he supports as one who loves his country. So, Jacobin tactics persist in this day. As President Trump has stated numerous times, They're not after me they're after you...

Trump understands the reality most deeply, as he is at the center of the storm. As his rights are restricted and removed, Americans rights are being eliminated by such precedents. The French Revolution was the antithesis of the American War for Independence; it did not lead France to Freedom. In my humble opinion, the quest for Freedom in the French Revolution ended on January 21, 1793. The rest of the quest was an illusion wrapped in deception. The War for Independence from Great Britain secured Freedom for the colonists, but it was only the beginning of securing it. The quest for Freedom in America began as a grand experiment, as it had never been done before. However, it continues to this day.

America is still on a sacred quest for Freedom, and much of how citizens respond to the nefarious desire to eliminate Donald Trump's rights will determine America’s failure or success in retaining our sacred God-given rights and in retaining Freedom in such a time as this.
