Pierre, late father of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is no longer the most famous Pierre—‘Trudeaumania’ not withstanding—thanks to a world trending viral video, Pierre Poilievre is.

There’s a lesson for all of us in a Poilievre happily munching his way through a juicy-looking apple as he was confronted by a leftwing ‘reporter’, who counted heavily on taking him off guard, even though all Justin Trudeau MPs have never been able to do so during Parliament.

The lesson is that reporters, neither right nor left-leaning, own no LEGAL right to waylay or demand attention by confrontation of any citizen, elected or otherwise.

No one needs ever to respond to ill-intentioned reporters. They are NOT the law.

Rooted in reality and loaded with common sense as he is, Conservative Leader Poilievre showed a leftwing chump up for what HE really is, a ‘reporter’ intending to throw unprovable accusations at someone he aimed to ridicule with fake news.

Don Urquhart, the editor of Castanet’s Times Chronicle, a local paper in Oliver and Osoyoos, B.C., aimed to reimagine Poilievre as the populist Donald Trump of Canada.

Canada’s largely left-leaning mainstream and social media are thinking if THAT doesn’t kill off Poilievre winning the next federal election as Canada’a prime minister, nothing will.

Urquhart used “populism” as his brickbat against an apple-chomping Poilievre, knowing that leftist hatred of Boogie Man Populism is already killing off Land of the Free, Home of the Brave America:

“…In terms of your strategy currently, you’re obviously taking the populist pathway,” Urquhart asked. (Truth North, Oct. 18, 2023)

“What does that mean?” Poilievre replied, setting the tone for the entire exchange.”

It should also be noted that Urquhart didn’t merely ASK Poilievre about “taking the populist pathway”, he outright STATED it.

The Conservative leader had been speaking with fruit growers in B.C.’s Okanagan region on the weekend, discussing his plans for housing, inflation, and drug supply before being interviewed by Urquhart.

“He (Urquhart) then said Poilievre was taking a page out of former U.S. president Donald Trump’s book, but again, failed to say who felt that way exactly or just what page he may be taking. (True North)

Pierre: Which people would say that?
Don: I'm sure a great many Canadians...
Pierre:  Like Who?
Don: I don't know who, but....
Pierre: You're the one who asked the question, so you must know somebody?

In the end, what this reporter inadvertently ended up doing was to remind the masses that the now mostly owned-by-government Canadian media, including the $1billion-a-year, bought-and-paid-for CBC, are the press flunky/PR arms of the Trudeau Liberal Government in cold-hearted Ottawa, much like the Marxist media, anti-Trump trolls towing the line for the destructive, America-killing Democratic Party.

“Urquhart, who seemed to have difficulty making eye contact with the Conservative leader, followed Poilievre’s question by saying, “certainly you tap very strong ideological language quite frequently,” and similarly, Poilievre responded with, “like what?” (True North)
“Urquhart could not provide any examples, instead meandering back to his line of questioning.
“He then said Poilievre was taking a page out of former U.S. president Donald Trump’s book, but again, failed to say who felt that way exactly or just what page he may be taking.
“The response resulted in a slight unraveling, which prompted Urquhart to drop his lead-in questions and address Poilievre with a more general question.
“Okay, then forget that, why should Canadians trust you with their vote?”
“Common sense. Common sense, for a change,” replied Poilievre, continuing to enjoy his apple.
“We don’t have any common sense in this current government. The guy prints $600 billion dollars and grows our money supply 32% in three years. That’s growing the money eight times faster than the economy. No wonder we have the worst inflation in four decades. I’m going to cap spending, cut waste so that we can balance the budget and bring down inflation and interest rates.”

While the masses got to see what left-wing ‘journalism’ is all about, Urquhart learned zilch

While the masses got to see what left-wing ‘journalism’ is all about, Urquhart learned zilch:

“An article from Urquhart about the interview called Poilievre’s tone “acerbic.”
“When asked why Canadians should trust him with their votes given his demonstrable track record of flip-flopping on key issues and what some consider his use of polarizing ideologically-infused rhetoric suggesting he simply takes pages out of the Donald Trump populist playbook, Poilievre became acerbic,” he wrote."
“The exchange caught the attention of many X users, even making its way up to the owner of the platform Elon Musk, who commented, “Never heard of him before but this interview is (fire emoji),” and then later, “Guess he likes them apples.”
"The interview also got the attention of the large conservative platform Townhall and SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly.
“Can we get him in our country?” wrote Kelly.
“The guy tries to ask a question by throwing out several accusations of the very thing he is doing before just asking a question. Couldn’t even look him in the eye because he knew what he was doing was wrong,” wrote one X user.
"Another X user wrote, “If I were Canadian, I would vote for this guy.”

Justin Trudeau will not be Canada’s nightmare PM forever

Meanwhile, the interview seen by millions in a viral video, returns hopes of a free Canada under common sense Prime Minister Pierre Poilievre.

It’s time for all of us to put the government- media in its place. No one has to obey the media, no one has to answer their leading questions. Putting the media in its place means telling them “NO COMMENT” before ignoring them by walking away.

Propped-up by NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, Justin Trudeau will not be Canada’s nightmare PM forever.

The dream of Bringing Canada Back Home is kept alive by Pierre Poilievre.

Millions gotta’ love them apples!
