PJ Media Comes Up With The Perfect Frame For Trudeau’s Tiresome Selfies

Trudeau’s Tiresome SelfiesSelf-avowed “Feminist” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wasn’t decked out with “My Body, My Choice” signage when he met with American Vice-President Mike Pence on Parliament Hill yesterday, he was only looking for another pre-election selfie. Nor did the State Visit prevent über-Liberal Trudeau from trying to lecture Pence about New Pro-Life Laws cropping up, state by state in the U.S.A.
LOL! Ms. Paula Bolyard, over at PJ Media, put the frame around a perfect Trudeau selfie in a story headlined: ‘Stay on Your Side of the Border, Eh?’ (PJ Media, May 31, 2019)
“What is it with leftists? They're not content to turn their own enclaves into progressive dumpster fires. No, they have to try and force their values on the rest of us and tell us all how we should live. And for the progressives neo-Puritans, that means trying to pressure us into observing their most revered sacrament: abortion. “Case in point, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who decided it would be a good idea to set Americans straight on the issue of reproductive rights state-sanctioned baby killing during a state visit to his country by Vice President Mike Pence.”
Ms. Bolyard gave Canada’s “Feminist” Prime Minister his comeuppance in a story headlined: ‘Stay on Your Side of the Border, Eh?: Trudeau Lectures Pence about New Pro-Life Laws in U.S.’ Pence may have seen his trip to Canada as just another state visit, but this is what Trudeau says he was thinking the day before the meeting:

“Obviously, I’m very concerned with the situation around the backsliding of women’s rights that we’re seeing from conservative movements [gasp!] here in Canada, in the United States and around the world,” Trudeau said the day before the meeting. “I will have a broad conversation with the vice president" about abortion. (PJ Media) “Trudeau said that during the meeting he highlighted the concerns of his countrymen, who are apparently wringing their hands and rending their garments over the proliferation of "anti-choice laws" in the U.S.”
Trudeau’s “countrymen” are “wringing their hands” and “rendering their garments” that their scandal-plagued prime minister is heading toward an October federal election without bearing any responsibility for the recent SNC-Lavalin scandal, which saw Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould removed from office for refusing to cover it up, and also because the Andrew Scheer-led Conservatives, very much like some U.S. Republicans have been quick to ask for taxpayer donations while seemingly unable to address Liberal scandals. Back to yesterday’s Trudeau lectures:
"I highlighted to the vice president that there was a significant amount of concern amongst Canadians on the new anti-choice laws being passed in a number of American states and highlighted that Canadians -- and indeed this government -- will always be a staunch defender of women's rights and a woman's right to choose," he said. (PJ Media) “Pence, for his part, wasn't having any of it and stood his ground during a joint appearance after the meeting. The vice president declared that he is "very proud to be part of a pro-life administration" and said the Trump administration has "taken steps to stand for the sanctity of life at home and abroad. Pence said he is troubled by "the Democratic Party in our country, and leaders around the country, supporting late-term abortion, even infanticide" — and rightly so as we see abortion supporters in the U.S. becoming more depraved and unhinged by the hour, even suggesting, as Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam did a few months back, that post-birth abortion should be permitted in the name of "choice" and personal autonomy (and just you hush about the autonomy of the poor helpless babes who are slaughtered in the process).

"For President Trump, for me, for our administration, we'll always stand for the right to life," Pence said. "But those are debates within the U.S.," he added, "and I know that Canada will deal with those issues in a manner the people of Canada determine most appropriate.” “A reporter asked Pence if it angered him to be "sermoned" by the leader of another country on the issue. "Look, friends can have differences of opinion and still be friends and I think what unites the United States and Canada is a shared commitment to freedom," Pence said. (That's become less so in recent years as Canada has increasingly turned to socialist solutions to policy problems and the universities have become hotbeds of radical mono-think, but Pence was probably too nice to say that at a press conference.)”
But what Canadians frustrated with Selfie King Trudeau probably like best about Paula Bolyard is her advice to him: “A word of advice to Monsieur Trudeau: Go fix your own country and then maybe we can have a chat about what you don't like about the U.S. Until then, MYOB.” MYOB, incidentally means the same thing in both French and English.
