Pope Francis Here To Prop Up PM Trudeau’s Dismal Popularity During His Penitential Pilgrimage?

Pope Francis Here To Prop Up PM Trudeau’s Dismal Popularity During His Penitential Pilgrimage?Cree lawyer and former Canadian Member of Parliament Romeo Saganash was right on the money when he called out the hypocrisy of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s loud virtue signalling about indigenous Canadians back in 2018. “Why doesn’t the Prime Minister just say the truth and tell the Indigenous Peoples that he doesn’t give a # about their rights,” Saganash said in parliament on Sept. 25, 2018.

F-Bomb notwithstanding, Saganash levelled Truth to Power on Trudeau’s outlandish grandstanding

The words of the Cree lawyer are even more apropos today than they were when first uttered as Trudeau has today proved successful roping Pope Francis into coming to Canada to apologize to alleged victims of the residential school scandal “on Canadian soil”. F-Bomb notwithstanding, Saganash levelled Truth to Power on Trudeau’s outlandish grandstanding. “Romeo Saganash, a Cree lawmaker, made the comments in parliament during a discussion of the Trans Mountain pipeline project that was recently halted after the federal court of appeals ruled that the government had failed to adequately address the concerns of some First Nations. “The Liberal government insists that the pipeline will go ahead.” (The Guardian) “When the prime minister says that this pipeline expansion will be done no matter what, and his minister adds that Canada will not be able to accommodate all indigenous concerns, what that means is that they have decided to willfully violate their constitutional duties and obligations,” said Saganash. “Mr Speaker, sounds like a most important relationship, doesn’t it? “Why doesn’t the prime minister just say the truth and tell indigenous peoples that he doesn’t give a # about their rights?” “Saganash was quickly admonished by the speaker of the House, Geoff Regan, for the use of the language and was given the opportunity to withdraw his comment. “Mr Speaker, what is happening is so insulting, it makes me so angry, but I do withdraw the word,” Saganash said. “His outburst resonated on social media, with several prominent indigenous voices expressing support. “I’m team F-bomb, I heard not a single lie,” tweeted academic Chelsea Vowel. “Colonial respectability politics in Canada is: a history of violently disciplining Indigenous folks into ‘polite’, ‘civil’ subjects of a state actively dispossessing us & destroying our homelands. # that,” said writer Erica Violet Lee on Twitter.

“A clear sign that our collective frustration with a real lack of progress on our life and death issues is mounting. We need action, not tired platitudes about reconciliation,” wrote professor Pam Palmater. (The Guardian) “Others argued that the use of profanity was insignificant when set against the numerous challenges facing indigenous communities across the country. “And if the F-word offends you, wait until you hear about the state of potable water on First Nations communities across the country,” wrote one user, in a reference to the more than 50 indigenous communities that are required to boil their water due to health and safety concerns. “In February, Trudeau announced an overhaul of the federal government’s relationship with indigenous peoples. “We have listened and learned and we will work together to take concrete action to build a better future and a new relationship,” he said. “But in its August ruling on the Trans Mountain pipeline, the appeals court admonished the government for an inadequate consultation with First Nations. “Saganash, a parliamentarian representing northern Quebec for the progressive New Democratic party, was forcibly taken from his home at age seven to attend a residential school – part of a policy later described by the country’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission as “cultural genocide”. “I can never be normal,” Saganash testified before the commission. ‘‘And none, none of those kids who were sent to residential schools can claim to be normal today. It’s impossible.” He is the first Cree to receive a law degree from Quebec and is the first indigenous person to run for leadership of a federal party. “Trudeau, who was not present during the session in the House, is no stranger to the use of “unparliamentary” language. “Last week, he apologized for saying “damn” during question period. In 2011, prior to leading the Liberal party, he apologized to the environment minister, Peter Kent, after an outburst in which he called Kent a “piece of #”.

Pope Francis begins ‘pilgrimage’ in Canada, will participate in pagan ‘smudging’ ritual today - (LifeSite, July 25, 2022) “Pope Francis arrived in Canada Sunday morning, commencing his 6-day “penitential pilgrimage” to meet with the indigenous peoples of the North American nation. “After touching down at Edmonton International Airport at around 11:09 a.m. local time, the Pope was greeted by numerous Church, state, and indigenous dignitaries, including George Arcand Jr. – the Grand Chief of the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Governor General Mary Simon, and Lieutenant Governor Salma Lakhani of Alberta. “Welcoming the Pope to Canada, a drum ensemble from Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation performed “a traditional welcome song in an autochthonous language,” according to the Holy See Press Office, while Arcand Jr. gifted the Pontiff a beaded medallion, CTV News reported. “Francis will make stops in Edmonton, Quebec, and Iqaluit over the course of his visit. “Faithful Catholics have been given cause for concern regarding the Pope’s intention to participate in a native “smudging” ritual during his visit, which will see the earthly head of the Catholic Church perform a “ritual of purification” in which “mother earth” is prayed to as a kind of pantheistic deity. “As noted by LifeSiteNews reporter Louis Knuffke, the ritual, which apes the use of Catholic sacraments and sacramentals, “is a clear act of pagan superstition,” reminiscent of the Holy Father’s veneration of the pagan pachamama idol at the Vatican in 2019.

“Francis has also been criticized for the close ideals he shares with Prime Minister Trudeau on matters relating to the climate, the “Great Reset” economic agenda, COVID-19 and the related abortion-tainted “vaccines,” and relations with China. (LifeSite) “Ahead of his arrival in Canada, the Pope announced on Twitter his hope that the trip “might contribute to the journey of reconciliation,” in reference to the allegations of abuse against indigenous children as well as the apparent discovery of unmarked graves at once Catholic Church-run residential schools.
“Dear brothers and sisters of #Canada, I come among you to meet the indigenous peoples. I hope, with God’s grace, that my penitential pilgrimage might contribute to the journey of reconciliation already undertaken. Please accompany me with #prayer. — Pope Francis (@Pontifex) July 24, 2022
“Francis again confirmed his conviction that the visit “is a penitential journey” in comments to reporters aboard the papal flight into Canada on Sunday morning. “The Pope is expected to deliver an apology relating to the Catholic Church’s supposed involvement in the abuses at Canadian residential schools, echoing his plea for forgiveness from the indigenous community during his meetings with representatives in April at the Vatican. “Right now, many of our people are skeptical and they are hurt,” Arcand Jr. told the Associated Press, adding that a papal apology “could begin our journey of healing … and change the way things have been for our people for many, many years.” “However, since the reported discovery of graves at the Kamloops Residential School, evidence has continued to emerge which undermines the mainstream narrative of a Church which secretly buried children, Kamloops itself was financed by the state, and historic reports noted how the Canadian government ignored reports from 1907 that the schools were in “prime conditions” for the “outbreak of epidemics.”

No graves have actually been found

"More recent investigations from January 2022, found that despite the allegations of “physical genocide” on the part of the Church, no graves have actually been found.(LifeSite) “Despite the lack of evidence over the existence of the “mass grave,” Canadian Catholic prelates swiftly complied with mainstream media pressure to issue public statements of apology. “Indigenous leaders are expected to demand financial reparations over the alleged abuses as well as the return of artifacts housed in the Vatican Museums once gifted by the indigenous peoples.”
The truth is that Francis and PM Justin Trudeau have joined up to condemn the Catholic faith. The Catholic Church must be totally destroyed in order for the Great Reset to proceed. Most shamefully, Christ’s so-called “Vicar on Earth” and Trudeau are using the indigenous people of Canada as a means for the Pope to prop up Trudeau’s failing popularity.
