Presidential ‘Hopeless’ Gillibrand Rants at a Building

Presidential ‘Hopeless’ Gillibrand Rants at a BuildingThere were some 533,074 articles over the past two and a half years in the media about ‘all-round bad guy’ President Donald Trump during the miserably failed Russia probe. Mark New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, bringing up the rear on Sunday, as number 533,075. Competing with Democrat presidential hopefuls in the “car full of crazies”, Gillibrand called Trump a “coward” who “punches down”, claiming that he is “tearing apart the moral fabric of our country”.
This from a senator who supports abortion up to and beyond birth, in a country whose major intelligence agencies are part of a coup still seeking to overturn the results of Election 2016. Downright laughable how the mainstream media tried to make out that launching her anti-Trump attack only “feet away from one of Trump’s Manhattan properties” was an act of bravery. Buildings don’t wear boxing gloves. “She lambasted the Trump International Hotel & Tower, which appeared over her left shoulder as she delivered a 30 minute speech, as “a shrine to greed, division and vanity” and accused Trump of putting his name on every building. (AP, March, 24, 2019)
“He demonizes the vulnerable and he punches down. He puts his name in bold on every building,” Gillibrand said. “He does all of this because he wants you to believe he is strong. He is not. Our president is a coward.”
A ‘coward’ who weathered the storm of 533,074 negative articles about a Russian conspiracy that was proven not to exist, to be exact.

“Gillibrand spoke as the nation awaited news of the report by the special counsel, Robert Mueller, in the Russia investigation. In her speech, she stressed that “nobody in this country, not even the president, is above the law, or immune from accountability.” (AP)
Unless it’s Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, James Comey, et al.
“She said Sunday, “It is not often that I agree with Richard Nixon, but he was right to say that the American people have the right to know whether their president is a crook.” (AP) “While Attorney General William Barr released a summary of principal conclusions on Sunday, hours after Gillibrand’s Manhattan speech, she is among the Democrats calling for the full details. “While some Democrats have taken steps to avoid mentioning Trump on the trail, Gillibrand has not done so. “And her decision to re-boot her campaign outside of one of Trump’s signature policies, showed her willingness to go after Trump directly. Aides to Gillibrand though dismissed the notion that the choice of venue was crafted to provoke a retort from Trump.”

No, it was using her virulent hatred of Trump to garner attention for her announcement she’d be running for president. Like millions of others, Trump chooses to ignore the cheap-shot senator from out of New York.
“While the president and his campaign have not responded to Gillibrand’s speech, a handful of Trump supporters were on hand Sunday, carrying Trump 2020 banners and at times piercing through the speech of Gillibrand and others with chants. (AP) “The people of this country deserve a president who is worthy of your bravery, a president who not only sets an example, but follows yours,” Gillibrand told the crowd. “Your bravery inspires me every day, and that’s why I’m running for president of the United States.”
Sure Senator that’s why you’re running for president of the United States.
“The event, which took over a portion of Central Park West on a chilly Sunday, focused on a theme of bravery. That theme first appeared in the video she released announcing Sunday’s rally. She was joined onstage by more than a half-dozen activists, including young people who were brought to the United States illegally as children, survivors of sexual assault, and anti-gun violence advocates. (AP)
In some circles this would be called the exploitation of victims.

“In the crowd, a woman sold pink, knit hats with cat ears, recalling the Women’s March. (AP) “Gillibrand was introduced by the actor Connie Britton, who lived with Gillibrand when the two studied abroad in Beijing. “Knowing her as I do all these years, the consistency of her conviction is clear,” Britton said of Gillibrand. “She cannot be knocked down, guys. Not in front of Trump plaza, or anywhere else.”
Sunday was not the first time Gillibrand used Trump hatred for self aggrandizement. “Everywhere you look the Washington Democrats – especially the declared presidential candidates — are making one outlandish statement after another as if they are in some sort of loser contest. Dispirit people say dispirit things. Take for example the latest nonsense coming from Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). (Costa Rica Star, March 24, 2019)

“During a recent town hall meeting in Iowa – sight of the nation’s first presidential primary — Gillibrand raised a lot of eye brows when she blurted out that U.S. Social Security benefits should be expanded to include illegal immigrants. What? That one statement should make Gillibrand pack up her political toys and go home. Her sentiment is enough to boil the oil of older Democrats, Republicans and Independents across the board from coast-to-coast. Here again the voters see the haters doing nothing for real Americans. “Another presidential hopeful Robert “Beto” O’Rourke says one crazy thing after another. He is very tall, an imposing figure standing on top of a car during campaign rallies holding a megaphone while wildly flailing his hands and arms in all directions. He’s more a cartoon figure than a serious candidate for the nation’s highest office. “If we do not abolish all fossil fuels within twelve years, everything on the planet will be dead,” he said. “The scientists are 100-percent united on this. Just as Americans of the past had to fight at Normandy, we have to fight this now, and save our planet.”
“According to Real Clear Politics polling averages, Gillibrand is supported by 0.4-percent of voters while O’Rourke claims 8-percent — far behind the leaders. These two are going nowhere.”
Short on policy, all Dem presidential hopefuls use Trump hatred as their launching pads. Meanwhile, people are asking why Democrat presidential hopefuls are getting crazier by day. The answer is that the crazier they come on, the more mainstream and social media headlines they get. It’s going to be a long haul just getting to Election 2020.
