Protect Your Children From The Zombies Out On The Road

Don’t—whatever you do—take your children out for daytime or early evening walks. Not because you would be exposing them to Coronavirus, but because it would be exposing them to nightmarish scenarios where the same neighbors they ran into only days ago, are now out there wearing face masks as they walk their dogs. This is the case even along long, lonely country roads where my dog has to be walked. Some neighbors throw up their hands as if to ward us off, reminding us: ‘Don’t come too close, we are ’social distancing’”.

It’s not scenes of the Wicked Witch of the West frightening this generation of children. It’s running into neighbors in face masks, some gesticulating ‘I don’t want to catch what you might already have’. Sadly, these are the same children Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is trying to convince won’t be able to grow up but will be dead from climate change/global warming within the next 12 years. At the rate of how things are now going, parents should keep their televisions off from the “NEWS” when any children are about. Cable Television is now wall-to-wall COVID-19, 24-7. Parents who aren’t watching Porn that can now be downloaded free from Porn-Hub, that is. No living soul—no matter how full of angst—can slip into a church during ‘The Time of the Coronavirus’, to say a little prayer. All churches have been closed by their bishops. You can watch Mass live streamed, which is not even close to really being there. Surely I cannot be the only one asking the celebrants of live streamed Masses: “You are in church, why can’t the faithful be?”

Amidst incessant dread media warnings that millions will die, no one can get to Confession. Their loved ones in nursing homes are not allowed last rites, and signs reading “Closed Until Further Notice” are posted on all church doors. Next week marks the beginning of Holy Week, but the only service the faithful can ‘attend’ will be one that is live streamed. How typical of them that Governments, worldwide have closed churches, schools and small business everywhere., but abortion clinics, liquor and marijuana (pot) stores remain open. Mothers, spare your children from nightmares by keeping your children away from the zombies out walking on the roads, and take time to hear their nightly prayers at bedtime—something no government can stop you from doing. Use your imagination to keep your children entertained while ordered to shelter at home. Make a treasure hunt out of your back garden while they are asleep. Show them the stars at night, the sun streaming through the window by day to remind them that it is God Almighty and not the politicians and bureaucrats who rules the World; that He always has and always will. Never let your children see your anxiety and worry. All little folk look to their parents for protection. Most of us now know, even if it is only down at heart, that it is not Coronavirus taking down the world, but the media and politician-inspired fear of it that is. Never forget, no matter how gruesome it gets that God Almighty blesses all parents and their children. Governments rarely hear the needs of the people they were elected to serve, but the Good Lord hears all prayers.
