Ralph Klein blows off B.C.‘s new carbon tax

Ralph Klein has some words of advice for his one-time colleague, Gordon Campbell -- axe the carbon tax.

The former Alberta premier returned to his roots Tuesday as guest speaker at a Surrey Board of Trade luncheon to speak his mind on a range of topics, including the environment. "(Campbell) might think (the new tax) is the right thing to do, but I think he was persuaded by (Gov.) Arnold Schwarzenegger of California," Klein said following his speech. "But my philosophy is that the only way taxes are going is down. So, I wouldn't introduce any kind of a tax."
