Red Squirrels

Sometimes you receive an email in your "in" box that hits the nail on the head.

The email in question likened the American people to a family who arrives home from a vacation to find their home invaded by red squirrels (I changed the creature to avoid a charge of racism), cute but nasty creatures that destroy property, eat all your food and generally wreck havoc. Unable to handle the situation on their own, they call an exterminator. The family could care less about the exterminator's way of speaking, or how many wives he has had all they care about is that he can rid their home of red squirrels. In a nutshell, that explains the rise of Donald Trump. We are angry. We want our Constitution back. We want the branches of government to do their jobs, not someone else's. We want a balanced budget. We want secure borders and limited/vetted and legal immigration. We want history taught as it happened not rewritten. We want our laws obeyed. We want our military and veterans funded fully and cared for properly. We want bottom up government as it is intended. We want jobs. We want trade balance. We want Obamacare gone. We want Common Core gone. In short, we want our country back. Many people believe Trump will deliver us from the red squirrels. Sincerely, Lois Virgo
