RESPECT Part 2: RESPECT issue that forms the bedrock of any peaceful civilized society and culture

RESPECT For The Truth

In Part 1 RESPECT, I pretty well blew up the concept that God and religion were not supposed to be a part of the American government and the American culture. A civilized society must have RESPECT for the moral and ethical sideboards provided by religion and the Ten Commandments

"We have staked the whole future of our new nation, not upon the power of government… We have staked the future of all our political constitutions upon the capacity of each of ourselves to govern ourselves according to the moral principles of the Ten Commandments." ~ James Madison

Without RESPECT for the truth, there is a void that can’t be filled by lies

In Part 2, I will examine an additional RESPECT issue that forms the bedrock of any peaceful civilized society and culture.

The second part of the foundation of any civilized culture or society is a RESPECT for the truth. Without RESPECT for the truth, there is a void that can’t be filled by lies, no matter how many times those lies are told. Truth will always triumph. There are not many absolutes in this world, but truth is a certainty. People of the lie will ultimately fall when the truth comes out. Most everyone reading this has seen this reality over and over again as part of their life’s experience. RESPECT for the truth is mandatory; anything else is simply an illusion.

"A lie doesn't become truth, wrong doesn't become right and evil doesn't become good just because it's accepted by a majority"~ Booker T. Washington

“A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” ~ Vladimir Lenin

American communist Democrat Party has patterned their incessant lying to the American public after Lenin or Goebbels makes no difference

The Lenin quote has often been attributed to Joseph Goebbels, the self-admitted German communist who served as Hitler’s Propaganda Minister. Whether the modern day American communist Democrat Party has patterned their incessant lying to the American public after Lenin or Goebbels makes no difference because the massive volume of those lies can no longer be hidden by their partners in crime, the main stream media. It is becoming clearer and clearer that the amount of lies being perpetrated on Americans by the government and trust in government is now in the toilet.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ~ John 8:32 (KJV)

"Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains taken to bring it to light." ~ George Washington

"The press is impotent when it abandons itself to falsehood." ~ Thomas Jefferson

“Truth is a tyrant-the only tyrant to whom we can give our allegiance. The service of truth is a matter of heroism.” ~ John F. Kennedy

"A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people." ~ John F. Kennedy

Facing facts is scary to uneducated fearful people

"You know well that government always kept a kind of standing army of news writers who, without any regard to truth or to what should be like truth, invented and put into the papers whatever might serve the [government] ministers. This suffices with the mass of the people who have no means of distinguishing the false from the true paragraphs of a newspaper." ~ Thomas Jefferson

"First, what does truth require? It requires us to face the facts as they are, not to involve ourselves in self-deception; to refuse to think merely in slogans. If we are to work for the future of the city, let us deal with the realities as they actually are, not as they might have been, and not as we wish they were." ~ John F. Kennedy

"The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie, deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive and unrealistic." ~ John F. Kennedy

Facing facts is scary to uneducated fearful people. When a government uses lies to perpetrate fear on its population, evil is afoot. Discerning facts from lies and fiction requires the skill of critical thinking, missing in too many Americans. Truth and facts are reality! A civilized peaceful society cannot survive by accepting lies and ignoring facts.
