RINO conspiracy theorist Joe Scarborough: Steve Bannon is the real president

Trump Derangement Syndrome keeps manifesting itself in new and interesting ways. “Morning Joe” host and former U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-Fla.) said on his low-rated MSNBC show Friday, “Time magazine was right: Steve Bannon is the president of the United States.” He called President Trump’s chief strategist “President Bannon” seven times in one minute, Axios reports. Scarborough said:

He has gone in. Donald Trump doesn’t know anything about policy. Donald Trump doesn’t know anything about politics. Donald Trump doesn’t know anything about anything. He can get up and give a good speech. You listen to him talk about any topic and he wanders from sentence to sentence to sentence. So Steve Bannon is now the president of the United States. And that was more clear yesterday than ever before.

Scarborough also suggested that ‘President Bannon’ was the source behind the negative leaks on Jared Kushner

I doubt Scarborough is right but it would be AWESOME if he were. Of course, take what Scarborough says with a grain of salt. Throughout George W. Bush’s administration, left-wingers ridiculed President Bush calling him a dummy and worse. Nobody as dense as Dubya could really be running things, they reasoned. Ergo, Vice President Dick Cheney must have been the real power behind the throne. According to the Axios story, “Scarborough also suggested that ‘President Bannon’ was the source behind the negative leaks on Jared Kushner and his ties to Russia, noting that Bannon bragged about having damaging information on Trump’s son-in-law in the days leading up to the reports that Kushner was being looked at by the FBI.”
