Last week, radical global warming activists held an eight hour sit-in at federal Environment Minister Jim Prentice's Calgary constituency office. Another group of radicals camped out at the office of Conservative Minister Rona Ambrose.
These groups are pressuring the Conservative government to commit to draconian carbon dioxide reduction measures in advance of a UN-sponsored climate meeting in Copenhagen this month.
Will you join us in insuring the government is not just hearing from radical environmentalists by contacting
Minister Prentice and
Prime Minister Harper today?
The CTF is warning in
national newspapers that Canada signing onto agreement in Copenhagen would lead to billions of tax dollars being shipped off in environmental aid to countries such as Burundi and Uganda coupled with crippling energy taxes and dubious proposals for carbon trading schemes.
Radical global warming activists were recently dealt a
serious blow when thousands of e-mails and research files surfaced from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) in the United Kingdom suggesting prominent scientists from around the world have been working together for years to “cook” temperature data. The CRU is one of the four main temperature record sources used by the United Nations to justify protocols such as Kyoto and now Copenhagen.
In two just released videos (
here and
here), CTF president Troy Lanigan sits down with Climatologist Dr. Tim Ball to discuss what he calls the “fraud” of Climategate.
The matters surrounding Climategate are serious and require governments here and abroad to investigate the legitimacy of temperature readings from their respective state-funded institutions before imposing dubious econoimc policies during a recession.
