Rush Limbaugh: The Torch in the Tunnel

Rush Limbaugh: The Torch in the TunnelHow typical of talk show radio giant Rush Limbaugh to pass a torch our way to see us through the dark tunnel the ‘Progressives’ have left us in when announcing that he’s been diagnosed with “advanced lung cancer”. “I told the staff today that I have a deeply personal relationship with God that I do not proselytize about, but I do, and I have been working that relationship tremendously,” he said. "I am, at the moment, experiencing zero symptoms.” (Rush Limbaugh Show, Feb. 3, 2020)
“God” is a word the Left do not want to hear in a society they are determined to force into Godless Socialism. The Left want to leave us believing that all is lost, that there is no hope, and that a better day is impossible for the helpless masses they rule. But the Left, of course are wrong because with God all things are possible. “The 69-year-old conservative talk pioneer closed his broadcast with the grim news, saying he will be leaving his golden EIB microphone for treatment, but hopes to return later this week.” (Fox News, Feb. 3, 2020,) “later this week” being no later than Thursday.
“This day has been one of the most difficult days in recent memory, for me, because I’ve known this moment was coming,” Limbaugh said. “I’m sure that you all know by now that I really don’t like talking about myself and I don’t like making things about me... one thing that I know, that has happened over the 31-plus years of this program is that there has been an incredible bond that had developed between all of you and me.” “The radio icon then told his audience that his job has provided him with the “greatness satisfaction and happiness” of his life.

“So, I have to tell you something today that I wish I didn’t have to tell you. It’s a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today,” he said. “I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down. The upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.” “Limbaugh told listeners that the disease will keep him off the air on certain days when he’ll receive treatment. He said two medical institutions confirmed the diagnosis since he first realized something was wrong on Jan. 12 when he experienced shortness of breath. “I thought about not telling anybody,” he said. “It is what it is. You know me, I’m the mayor of Realville. This has happened and my intention is to come here every day I can, and do this program as normally and competently and expertly as I do each and every day because that is the source of my greatest satisfaction professionally, personally.”
That’s exactly how the 27 million listeners who tune in to his show every day, many having done so over the past 31 years, feel about Rush Limbaugh. How providential that the announcement came at a nightmarish time with the Democrats boldly bragging that they will make make President Donald Trump Impeachment and removal from office “FOREVER”.

How providential, too that the news arrives at a time when the nightmarish scenario at many of our world airports is travellers being pulled out of lines to be placed into quarantine far away from home and family, and where countless people are wearing face masks for protection against what the United Nation’s World Health Organization (WHO) is sending out worldwide warnings about a terrifying pandemic about which most of us know little or nothing. In other words, happening at a time where we are left in a dark and frightening tunnel, sometimes feeling there’s nowhere to turn. Letters about el Rushbo began pouring into Canada Free Press this afternoon, with some people asking “What do we do?” Some are worried about the Left celebrating the news and going on to ridicule Rush supporters. They can take heart that, as always, Rush Limbaugh is supported by steadfast love while the Left is driven by corrosive hatred for all people with whom they happen to disagree. Like millions of others, Rush Limbaugh has been a big part of CFP’s past—more importantly will continue to be a big part of our present. Thank You, profoundly from all of our hearts, Rush Limbaugh for passing the entire West a torch taking us out of the dark tunnel to where we should be: With our Creator.
