Rush Looking Down At Us From HeavenConservative Talk Show Radio will never be the same or ever fill the gap he left behind. Our hearts are broken today hearing that Rush Limbaugh is gone. But while lovable, compassionate, humorous el Rushbo has passed on Ash Wednesday, 2021, at age 70, his spirit will go on to live in our hearts forever. It was Rush who kept our flagging spirits high during the 32 years of his radio career, particularly following the disappointing outcome of the last questionable election. Rush NEVER gave up and encouraged all his listeners to NEVER give up when giving up would mean the end of his beloved America. There will be many tributes to Rush in coming days, including those from his radio colleagues, but no one knows him better than his loving wife, Kathryn, whose very words in the announcement of his passing, dried many of our tears today, when she said that Rush is now looking down on us from Heaven.

"From today on, there will be a tremendous void in our lives, and on the radio"

"For over 32 years Rush has cherished you, his loyal audience and always looked forward to every single show. It is with profound sadness, I must share with you directly that our beloved Rush, my wonderful husband, passed away this morning, due to complications from lung cancer. As so many of you know, losing a loved one is terribly difficult. Even more so when that loved one is larger than life.” She said: "Rush will forever be the greatest of all time. Rush was an extraordinary man. A gentle giant. Brilliant, quick-witted, genuinely kind. Extremely generous. Passionate. Courageous. And the hardest working person I know. Despite being one of the most recognized, powerful people in the world, Rush never let the success change his core or beliefs. He was polite and respectful to everyone he met." "From today on, there will be a tremendous void in our lives, and on the radio.” Kathryn continued: "Rush encouraged so many of us to think for ourselves. To learn and to lead. "He often said it did not matter where you started or what you look like, as Americans we all have endless opportunities like nowhere else in the world. "On behalf of the Limbaugh family, I would personally like to thank each and every one of you who prayed for Rush and inspired him to keep going. You rallied around Rush and lifted him up when he needed you the most…" Kathryn concluded: ."I am certain, without a shadow of a doubt, if he could be here today, he would be. He loved you, and he loved this radio program with every part of his being.

God bless you Rush. And God bless our country

"Instead, we know our Rush is in heaven, encouraging everyone in the same we he did on earth. "In Rush's honour, may we all continue Rush's mission in our individual lives and communities. I know all of you listening are terribly sad. We all are. "I'm terribly sorry to have to deliver this news to you. God bless you Rush. And God bless our country." Right up to the end, Rush had the kind of staying power we all should have. It was almost a year ago when First lady Melania Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom during President Trump's State of the Union address in February 2020—even though he was already suffering from 4th stage Lung Cancer. This living icon never let his illness interfere with his radio show and was encouraging listeners from his golden EIB microphone right up to last week. Even death cannot take Rush away from his listeners who will always remember him in life. The shining truth is that while so many of us pass on, Rush Limbaugh lives in our hearts forever! God Bless your soul, Rush!
