Like a scalded cat, former Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Gerald Michael Butts went running off to the bottom of the trash heap in a pathetic attempt to save his longtime protege, the worst prime minister in Canadian history, in a CNN interview.

“Ontario is immediately invoking a state of emergency in an attempt to end trucker convoy protests that have disrupted a vital border crossing in the province. “On Friday, Premier Doug Ford announced the move as anti-mandate protesters have set up a blockade at the Ambassador Bridge between Windsor and Detroit, which has caused significant traffic and trade disruptions. “While these emergency orders will be temporary, we have every intention to bring new legislation forward that will make these measures permanent in law. We are taking the steps necessary to support our police as they do what it takes to restore law and order,” Ford said at a press conference at Queen’s Park. “The state of emergency will make it illegal and punishable to block and stop the movement of goods, people and services along critical infrastructure. “This will include protecting international border crossings, 400-series highways, airports, ports, bridges and railways. “A member of the group who met the premier confirmed to CTV News Toronto the interaction took place on Saturday, Feb. 5.(CTV) “When asked about his whereabouts on the weekend at a news conference Friday, Ford admitted to being at the cottage, defending his decision by saying that he was on the phone “almost 24/7.”LOL!!! Ford’s being on the phone “almost 24/7” is about as helpful as his online video teaching folk how to make the cheesecake he learned from his mother at the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak two years ago. Two years later this ‘conservative’ premier close friends with Trudeau, has left Canada’s largest province teetering on bankruptcy. It will be interesting, as one media outlet has hinted if he will ease Covid restrictions in Ontario tomorrow. Stay tuned.
