Smoke Plume over NYC is all Nova Scotia’s Fault

About that smoke plume supposedly hanging out in the skies over New York City that Fox News Senior Producer and Meteorologist Greg Diamond is raising global warming hysteria, we think it smells more like burned down peoples’ homes than a “camp fire” or your “neighbor’s barbecue”.

What Diamond is broadly hinting is that a potentially deadly plume of smoke from out of control Canadian forest fires yesterday reached all the way down to New York City—and it’s all Nova Scotia’s fault.

While Canada Free Press (CFP) does not have Diamond’s murky climate change crystal ball or wonky computer models, it does have the decided advantage of being right on the scene of the catastrophic fires, which only yesterday reached the part of the peninsula CFP calls home.

Here’s a picture of the plume which proves that it ain’t headed anywhere near Gotham, but hanging right over Halifax, where some 16,000 people have already been evacuated and alas, here in, Shelburne County.

In other words CFP is right here on site, Mr. Diamond, trying not to fly into panic mode as you seem to have.

Incidentally Greg Diamond, CFP is on the ground between New York and the forest fires, for us the forest fires are headed to the east of us, and not towards NYC.

The story of the Nova Scotia fires now according to you MAYBE causing breathing problems for New Yorkers was vomited out by sanctimonious Fox News to its sister paper New York Post today.

It would seem that Rupert Murdoch’s Empire houses FAKE News made up from whole cloth, while Nova Scotians struggle to live it out in harsh reality:

‘Smoke from Nova Scotia wildfires drifts over NYC: ‘It may smell like a campfire’ (New York Post, May 30, 2023)

“That’s not your neighbor’s barbeque.
"New Yorkers may notice a smell of smoke in the air akin to a campfire this week, as easterly winds carry in smoke from Canadian wildfires.
“The plume of smoke from the raging fires in Nova Scotia is expected to drift hundreds of miles to the southeast over New York City and surrounding regions Tuesday evening into Wednesday, bringing hazy skies and decreased air quality, according to meteorologists.
“Fox Weather senior producer and meteorologist Greg Diamond said New Yorkers will begin to see and smell the smoke beginning at 7 p.m. with the fumes sticking around after midnight into the early morning hours.

“The plume is expected to dissipate and move north out of the tristate area Wednesday evening. (NY Post)
“The main thing you’ll notice is the sky — the skies will be milky, they’ll be a little hazy,” Diamond told The Post. “And occasionally, when that smoke is allowed to get down to the ground, it may smell like a campfire.”
“The air quality will decrease due to the smoke’s presence Tuesday into Wednesday.
“Most people will be unaffected, but the air could be unhealthy for people in sensitive groups — like children, the elderly and those with asthma, heart disease or other lung diseases.
“We’ll never get to dangerous levels of the air quality,” Diamond said. “But those who are sensitive should probably avoid being outdoors for a long period of time, especially if they noticed that smoke is in the air.”

Unfortunately if not sadly, New Yorkers have only recently been released from COVID-19 Lockdown.

“The haziness could reduce visibility for planes taking off and landing at airports in the area, but likely not enough to cause significant issues or delays, the meteorologist said.(NY Post)
"One potential upside to the smoky air, however, is a heightened sunset and sunrise with more “electric color” and “a hazy reddish sky” as the light gets eroded, according to Diamond.

“A heightened sunset and sunrise with more “electric color” and “a hazy reddish sky” is a “potential upside to the smoky air as the light gets eroded”?

Really, GW scare monger, Mr. Diamond!

“Our main takeaway — it’s not really going to impact too many people’s live (sic) unless you’re very sensitive but it can make for a cool sunset,” he said." (NY Post)

Hard to enjoy a “cool sunset” in NYC where New Yorkers overrun by illegal immigrants, live in the risk of muggings and assaults, not to mention to being thrown of subway platforms.

“Diamond also warned that more smoke could be back in parts of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut over the course of the week as similar weather conditions persist. (NY Post)
“Don’t be surprised if we get another round of smoke coming back into the area again in the next few days,” he said. “Because this pattern is kind of getting locked in a bit for and so it wouldn’t shock me if we see another round of smoke earlier this week, but it’s still uncertain right now.”
“What do you think? Post a comment.
"About 200 houses and other buildings have been damaged by the blaze but there have been no reports of injuries, deaths or missing residents as of Tuesday.

Here’s CFP’s comment:

“Cut the crap, Fox News and NY Post, real people and their homes are at risk in this historic raging forest fire danger.

The Murdoch Empire is hanging its circulation on ageing activist Jane Fonda, who openly blames 'white men,’ and 'racism' for climate change.

“Jane Fonda issued a stark warning about climate change on Saturday while placing the blame on white men.

“We’ve got about seven, eight years to cut ourselves in half of what we use of fossil fuels, and unfortunately, the people that have the least responsibility for it are hit the hardest — Global South, people on islands, poor people of color,” the “Book Club: The Next Chapter” actress said at the Cannes Film Festival. (NY Post, May 30, 2023)

“It is a tragedy that we have to absolutely stop. We have to arrest and jail those men — they’re all men [behind this].” (NY Post)
"The two-time Oscar winner added that climate change would not be possible without racism or the patriarchy, in which “white men,” she said, are at the top.
“It’s good for us all to realize, there would be no climate crisis if there was no racism. There would be no climate crisis if there was no patriarchy. A mindset that sees things in a hierarchical way,” she argued.”

It wasn’t ocean winds that drove common sense away from the curse of ongoing Canadian forest fires:

The Province of Alberta has already charged and arrested the arsonist sickos who started some of the fires.

‘Charges laid in series of intentionally set Alberta wildfires, residential arsons’-(Global News, May 4, 2023)

Just to think that the digital cyberpace is filled with the kind of climate change protesters who show up in art galleries, glue themselves to priceless art work, wearing oil-based togs; or extinction activists wearing orange and yellow plastic vests, gluing or cementing hands to roadways.

All of it from those who suck their drinks from soggy paper straws rather than the plastic that an overbearing United Nations wants eliminated.

Meanwhile, not only the cause of raging Canadian forest fires is being patently ignored by the mainstream and social media, so is the push that everything going on in a world gone mad is the FAKE claim Global Warming/Climate Change is going to kill off humanity.
