Somali UN Security Council President involved with healthcare company guilty of Medicaid fraud in Ohio: HHS

The Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed that Abukar Dahir Osman, the Permanent Representative of Somalia to the United Nations and President of the UN Security Council, is associated with a healthcare agency in Ohio that the department previously took action against over fraud.

"I can confirm public speculation that Ambassador Abukar Dahir Osman, Permanent Representative of Somalia to the UN and President of the Security Council, is in fact associated with Progressive Health Care Services, a home health agency in Cincinnati," said DHHS Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill.
