Do you believe that Obama man George Soros is sitting the midterms out? According to the New York Times, The Caucus, touted as "The Politics and Government Blog of the Times", "the billionaire financier who was an energetic Democratic donor in the last several election cycles but is sitting this one out, is not feeling optimistic about Democratic prospects." (The Caucus, Oct. 11, 2010).

Claiming he "can't stop a Republican avalanche," Soros is feigning disillusion for the Dems, and so to speak shares the same technicolor dreams of the masses who want relief from Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank et al. Has he really left the political arena? Is savvy George trying to spread the message via the New York Times that it's in the bag for Repubs in midterms, cooling patriot passions and keeping people from the necessity of voting, since the Dems are finished anyway. Does a leopard wait until age 80 to change its spots? Soros seems to like people to suffer. In his own words he said of the current Recession: "It is, in a way, the culminating point of my life's work." About his participation in the last three elections: "I made an exception getting involved in 2004," he said in a brief interview Friday at a forum sponsored by the Bretton Woods Committee. "And since I didn't succeed in 2004, I remained engaged in 2006 and 2008. "But I'm basically not a party man. I'd just been forced into that situation by what I considered the excesses of the Bush Administration." "Forced"? Forced and humility are two words that should not be used in the same sentence as George Soros. In 2003, Soros declared that defeating President George Bush was "the central focus" of his life and "a matter of life and death". Sore loser Soros was inconsolable after Bush claimed victory in 2004. In 2008, he was back as the main financier of the Barack Obama campaign for presidency. George Soros is sitting the midterms out? The sting of the scorpion never goes away. Nor do One World Government advocates Soros and his Canadian sidekick Maurice Strong.
