State Takes Daughter Away From Couple for Not Affirming Trans Identity

A Catholic couple in Massachusetts had their daughter taken away by the state under the guise of child abuse after refusing to affirm her so-called transgender identity.

In 2024, the 15-year-old child was removed from the home of Joseph and Arlene Kutzko after they say she was secretly socially “transitioned” at Algonquin Regional High School. Now, they’re fighting to get her back before she is medically “transitioned” on high-dose testosterone.

“Here, a public school is ‘stuck on stupid’ by engaging in the willful and dehumanizing practice of destroying both family and child. This school should be closed permanently,” Walt Heyer, senior fellow at Family Research Council, told The Washington Stand. “The school abused the child emotionally and psychologically, causing lifelong damage. Lindsay Clancy Supporters Harass Holdout Juror’s Family, Brother Defends His Vote

The brother of the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial said his sibling’s Catholic faith had nothing to do with the vote that deadlocked the jury, defending the decision as one based on the evidence after Clancy admitted killing her three young children.

“I don’t think religion had anything to do with it,” the brother told The New York Post, disputing claims online that religion drove the outcome.

“He looked at the case, and he made the call,” the brother said. “For me, that’s how I would do it. I would just listen to the case with all the evidence, and go from there.”

New Report Shows 1,719 Obamacare Plans Used Tax Dollars to Pay for Abortions

A new report from the U.S. government’s nonpartisan watchdog agency revealed that federal taxpayers subsidized 1,719 Affordable Care Act (ACA) Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) that covered elective abortions for an estimated 4.4 million individuals this year alone. The report also showed that 683 more abortion-covering QHPs were available through the ACA than when GAO issued a similar brief in 2014.

The recent report, compiled by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), was requested by House and Senate majority leadership, Co-Chairs of the House and Senate Congressional Pro-Life Caucus and Values Action Teams, and Chairmen of the House and Senate Committees of jurisdiction. ---More...

Missouri Must Vote for Amendment 3 to Save Babies From Abortions

Last week, YouGov, in conjunction with St. Louis University, released the results of a recent poll of over 900 likely Missouri voters. The poll contained a question on Missouri’s Amendment Three, which would remove the right to an abortion from Missouri’s constitution and prohibit gender transition procedures for minors.

The results indicate that Amendment Three is down by one percentage point, with 43 percent in support, 44 percent opposed, and 13 percent undecided. 

Overall, this poll provides mixed news for Missouri pro-lifers. There is a body of research that shows that support for ballot questions falls as election day draws near. This appears to be the case with Amendment Three, as support has fallen by seven points since the most recent YouGov/St. Louis University poll in February 2026. Furthermore, most undecided voters usually end up opposing ballot questions. ---More...  

 

Senate Confirms Pro-Life State Judge for Federal Judgeship

The Senate on Tuesday confirmed Ohio appeals court Judge Matthew R. Byrne, who has a career of pro-life work, to a lifetime seat on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

The vote was 52-45.

President Donald Trump nominated Byrne on the recommendation of Ohio’s two Republican senators and Vice President JD Vance. Byrne, a Republican, was elected to Ohio’s Twelfth District Court of Appeals in 2020 after a decade as an employment litigator.

Sen. Jon Husted, R-Ohio, told the Senate Judiciary Committee in June that Byrne had decided more than 800 appeals and written majority, concurring and dissenting opinions in nearly 250 cases.

“Judge Byrne has earned a distinguished reputation as a hardworking, thoughtful, and fair judge,” Husted said. “He has remained dedicated to upholding the reputation of the court and the rule of law.” ---More...
