MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 1 /CNW/ - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is thrilled to announce a brand new unprecedented sales record. Another month of outstanding sales in November led to the company toppling its goal of reaching 20,000 units, besting its previous record of 19,892 units set last December.

These phenomenal results will surely have a strong impact when annual sales are reported in December. With monthly sales up 50.4 percent over last November, this month also marked Subaru Canada's eighth month of record-breaking results for 2009. Continuing to perform strongly during the month were the all-new 2010 model year Legacy and Outback. Legacy sedan sales were up by 455.8 percent over last November while Outback sales increased by 276.3 percent over the same month last year. It was also a record-breaking November for Forester and Impreza as monthly sales were up 51.9 and 8.0 percent respectively. "We are delighted to see such a positive consumer reaction to our entire lineup of Subaru symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive vehicles," said Katsuhiro Yokoyama, president and CEO of SCI.
