Supreme Dictator and Food Stamp President

Our Founding Fathers purposely established a three branch government so that no one person or group of people would end up with absolute power. To pass a new law, it would take both the House of Representatives and the Senate to pass the same bill and then it has to be signed into law by the President--our system of checks and balances.

However, Barack Obama has repeatedly declared law, eliminated law and changed law without going through Congress as required by the U.S. Constitution. He took it upon himself to instruct the Department of Justice to stop enforcing the Defense of Marriage Act and manipulated our immigration laws halting deportations and authorizing 2-year renewable work permits to illegal youths while so many Americans remain unemployed. All with a stroke of his pen. Now, Obama has once again bypassed Congress and decided to change the federal welfare laws in an obvious attempt to buy votes among America’s poor. He is currently pushing a $25 billion federal bailout to help states keep teachers, police officers, and firefighters on the job amid pending layoffs. He has taken action to completely gut the work requirement from the Welfare Reform Act passed in 1996 and signed into law by President Bill Clinton. He is clearly appealing to the masses to garner support for his re-election campaign. Once again our president is acting more like a socialist dictator as he illegally assumes authority that he does not have. Why isn't the Senate, House or Supreme Court doing anything to stop him? We are at a crossroads, America! Do we want to become a big government, tax and spend, redistribute wealth, socialist country pushing our citizenry to government dependency from the cradle to the grave or do we want to return to our core principles of limited government, free markets, and personal responsibility ensuring individual freedom and prosperity for our children and future generations? Please wake up, our country is being “fundamentally transformed” to mirror the secular-socialist ideals of the president currently “occupying” the White House. Individual freedom is being trampled at an unprecedented rate. This is the most important election in our lifetime.
