The main strategy of the ‘progressives’ during the 2020 presidential election campaign is to dispirit Hillary’s deplorables. The mantra of the day, backed by polls, seems to be ‘President Donald Trump doesn’t have a chance; no point voting for him’.
To avoid becoming dispirited by what will be be wall-to-wall, one-sided media coverage of the 2020 presidential election campaign, stick to this simple rule of thumb: God 1st, family and country 2nd and third, and politics only when absolutely necessary.
Joe Biden, Liz Warren, Kamala Harris and all 20-plus Democrat primary contenders in what Canada Free Press calls the “caravan of crazies” are the same people they were before they decided to take a run for the presidency.
What they are now is what they have always been, crass and self-serving career politicians who put themselves first and voters last. All of them have lifetime membership in what should be called the political ‘Me-First Society’.
They promise free stuff for all, an ongoing visceral hatred of President Donald Trump, and in the case of the whopper-telling Joe Biden, even a cure for cancer.
For all of those who have already decided that President Trump deserves their vote, hang tough. Mainstream and social media will carry the Democrat message 24-7 for he next 500 or so days.
Even long before primary contenders threw their hats and pink # caps into the ring, their rhetoric has been all about “Trump, the racist”, “Trump, the misogynist”, “Trump, the“bigot” and any other smear they think capable of bringing him down.
We’ve been hearing how America’s 45th has colluded with Russia to “steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton” for two and a half years running. Their Screech to Impeach can be heard almost every other day.
Progressives have done a thorough job in portraying President Trump as Public Enemy No. 1
The media will bring Trump smear saturation coverage to every home with a television. Expect no relief from cable television now that even Fox is in on the act with former two-time DNC chair Donna Brazile as one of their ‘contributors’.
To the networks ratings is what count most and not the frazzled nerves of their viewers.
But you don’t have to watch the talking heads carrying on with the hatefest because you can always choose to tune out rather than tune in.
Ditto for all Dem primary contenders who will continue trying to outdo each other on being the most outrageous.
Progressives have done a thorough job in portraying President Trump as Public Enemy No. 1.
Spare your blood pressure and acid reflux by avoiding political spats with relatives and friends. Make a House Rule of no discussions on politics and religion at birthday, anniversary or any other occasions all but impossible to avoid, and stick to it.
Arguing with relatives indoctrinated by what they view on television is a colossal waste of time.

Election Day is a long way off, but folk can always fill their time with more meaningful past times, such as gardening, reading, painting. This could be a good time to start on that new hobby.
With Netflix and other platforms assaulting the pop culture with televised trash, send for DVDs of old television shows that are entertaining rather than offensive. The further you go back in time, the better viewing you will find.
Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet without researching the subject yourself.

Don’t allow the talking heads to leave you second guessing yourself. They know even less about what’s going to happen than you do.
Reassure all school age children that global warming/ climate change is not going to end the world within 12 years just because publicity hound Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says so.
Force the ego-driven progressives to play out to an empty theatre, while remaining steadfast in your beliefs
Stay focused on what this election is about more than any other because it is the one in which the progressives (both Democrats and Social Justice party members) want to shift the Republic over to their long coveted Socialist State.
Repeat President Trump’s words: “America will NEVER be a Socialist country,” often.
Force the ego-driven progressives to play out to an empty theatre, while remaining steadfast in your beliefs.
Stay firmly where you are in your own mind right up until it is time to vote on Election Day.
Remember the rule of thumb: “ God 1st, family and country 2nd and third, and politics only when absolutely necessary.”
