As an urban stakeholder and safety creator who is occasionally paid (lol) to create it, I talk to the targeted (good people who dont bother anyone) about mobilizing to displace bad intentions of those targeting them.
Well adjusted folks shudder at the mere thought of someone targeting them for physical harm and material loss. I advise them to readjust tactics not beliefs regarding those paying them the wrong kind of attention.
By the way, I'm one of those good people targeted too. I have weathered countless threats on the clock and two attempted home invasions.
This isn't an abstract matter for me. I know what it's like to weigh threat potential of an angry person targeting me. Not. fun.
I've had to rely upon situational awareness and self defense drills at 3:30am after leaping up from a sound (though light) sleep while a home invader yanked my air conditioner out of the living room window to enter my home uninvited.
Creating safety during this unsafe era is a deadly serious game of targeted vs targeters- period!
