The natives are restless, and we’re ready for responsible, disciplined government, not empty rhetoric from Progressives in each party.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya!

Private Gomer Pyle, U. S. M. C. (1960s TV situation comedy) was famous for saying, ‘Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya!’ With the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) proclaiming that the recession which started in 2007, ended in June, 2009, former President George W. Bush must be saying ‘Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya!’

Now that a definable break has been established for when the most recent recession ended, this means, that going forward, the nation’s economy, for better or worse, is owned by the finger-pointing Obama regime, the Demoncrats’ supermajority in the House and the Senate, in which they are one vote shy of a supermajority. The fervent hope is that our economy will find solid footing. With the policies that have been proposed and/or rammed through by the Obama regime, through the legislative thuggery of Speaker of the House Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Reid, against the wishes of the majority of the electorate, it appears our economy will remain in the clutches of the quicksands of deception and oppression. Who will Obama and his feudal lords blame when an organization like the NBER has definitively proclaimed that the initial drop in the economy was interrupted in June, 2009? As flawed as we, as human beings, are, without faith in our Creator, our Savior and the Holy Spirit, how can there be any trust in people, especially those in elective office? We need to return to the Source of our blessings, or we will rue the fact that we let politicians steal more than our money and our freedoms! What the audaciously pompous buffoons in elective office fail to realize is that they can’t buy a thinking person’s trust, no matter how many billions and trillions of dollars they throw at the people. Only the ethically challenged, or a sloth, can be bought off by a stinking politician! Inside the GOP, incumbents are learning that there are consequences for their cavalier attitudes and actions. One of the attractions of the candidates opposing incumbents is that they are not part of those who have been living lavishly off the backs of taxpayers. The new candidates haven’t been voting their own pay raises, using franking privileges and rolling over political contributions from election-to-election to squelch opposing candidates, exempting themselves from legislation forced upon us, and confiscating unused political contributions for personal use when leaving office. In fact, they pledge to erase these inequities! The longer in office, the more detached a politician typically becomes. Career politicians are blight at all levels of government. Many thanks should go out to those who have run against incumbents in both parties. The message has been sent to those currently in office that actions speak louder than campaign promises. The natives are restless, and we’re ready for responsible, disciplined government, not empty rhetoric from Progressives in each party. Our Constitution was written as a defense against oppressive government. This is why Obama and his cabal have been relegated to forcing through unwanted and unfair legislation, or subverting the legislative process by mandating destructive policies. Fortunately, to date, our Constitution has withstood the onslaught of elected politicians, especially over the past century. As exciting as November 2, 2012 is shaping up to be, November 6, 2012 could provide a knockout punch to politicians drunk on power, reminiscent of the courageous actions that our founding fathers took to form the foundation of our sanctuary from oppressive government. We’ll all be saying ‘Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya!’ to those who restore our Constitution, our freedoms and our trust of those in elective government!
