Finally, something positive to get excited about -- Mitt Romney’s pick of Paul Ryan to be his VP.

Mr. Ryan sets a high bar for his knowledge of the budget and his outspoken acknowledgement of the need to address the problems we face with Social Security and Medicare. He is the adult in the room when Congressional Hearing take on these hot button issues. The budget challenges facing our country require more than glib speeches designed to placate the masses. They require bold ideas, plain talk and hard work. Hopefully, the ticket will be able to articulate the lack of a real plan to fix the economy, or healthcare, or the deficit. Hopefully, they will be able to show the people that the administration is spending more time deceiving us than fixing problems. A lot rides on this Romney/Ryan pairing.
