The belittling president

I'm watching the President look into the camera lens and talk about the debt ceiling and the fact that raising it does not increase our debt. He says we need to increase the debt ceiling to pay bills already appropriated.

To that I say, one - we need to stop promising to pay for more goodies than we can afford. We should only approve expenses that fall within my pocketbook. Second, perhaps he should explain to the people why the "Debt clock" is moving upward at an alarming rate. No matter how reasonable he sounds, we are spending too much money. A fact that he talks over and around but never addresses. The President is belittling those who are trying stop our spending spree. He equates everything to a family budget. Mr. President, responsible Americans don't take on debt they cannot pay without borrowing more money. And, as been asked before, if not now, when?
