The Covid-like Forest Ban In Effect In Canada’s Maritimes

Only in a seriously declining country where corrupt Liberals masquerade as Conservatives; and where Commies get away with pretending to be Liberals, would the entire citizen populations of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland suddenly be banned from being allowed to be out anywhere in the forests—all of it coming down by provincial decree within a span of four and five days.

Citizens of all Maritime provinces caught camping, hiking, or even walking through their centuries-old forests are facing fines of $25G, plus taxes in Nova Scotia, and facing $150,00 fines and potential year-long jail terms in Newfoundland, if caught setting fires.

All premiers are behind an Internet-advertised snitch line, so that neighbors can report offenders to their respective governments.

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier John Hogan will not only impose $150,000 fines on citizens caught in their forests, but is threatening to add prison terms of up to one year for citizens unable to pay fines.

All of this went down in a matter of days in the impoverished Maritime provinces, where many folk can’t afford groceries let alone $25G, plus-taxes and $150,000 fines, some all for the crime of going outside in what to them is, and has long been, The Great Outdoors.

The timing of this government intrusion on the lives of ordinary people, showing similarities to their 2020 draconian Covid lockdowns, is worrisome to say the least.

Maritime premiers claim that the entire Maritimes have been, and still are are under severe summer drought-like conditions. Yet, there were no warnings of any kind before the sudden decrees of the August forest bans.

‘Conservative’ Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston, who started the forest ban rolling on August 5, and ‘Conservative’ P.E.I Premier Rob Lantz, flew from the Maritimes to Toronto to attend a July 4th backyard barbecue at the home of senior Liberal Cabinet Minister Chrystia Freeland. 

That’s a long way from home if their provinces— whose wells were already running dry during an acute summer drought—were commonplace.

Important to note that both Ontario Premier Doug Ford and N.S. Premier Tim Houston threw in with the Liberals before attending the Freeland backyard barbecue.

Going back over the actual forest fire ban timeline, Houston’s forest ban came first on August 5th, followed one day later on August 6th by PEI’s Rob Lantz, and a day after that

by Liberal NFLD Premier John Hogan, followed by New Brunswick’s Liberal Premier Susan Holt, two days later on August 9th.

It has been reported that Newfoundland currently has six ongoing out-of-control fires and is also now conducting evacuations.

It’s getting harder to believe that all of this was merely due to coincidence.

Here in Nova Scotia, to which Canada Free Press fled from Ontario when Premier Doug Ford, who had already frozen online Give Send Go and GoFundMe donations to Freedom Convoy truckers, and who supported Justin Trudeau’s freezing of their bank accounts, was now threatening to freeze the bank accounts of their supporters, of which CFP was one.

And when it comes to raging forest fires, we’ve been here before.

The raging out-of-control fires of 2023, which destroyed thousands of Nova Scotia forest acres, lasting right up to and including winter months, were made all the more alarming when it was ultimately proven that some of them had allegedly been deliberately set by arsonist/ activists.

Meanwhile, those who claim that there is a connection between COVID-19 government-imposed lockdowns and the forest lockdowns are certain to be dismissed as conspiracy theorists by both government and mainstream media.
