The Democrat’s War on Men

There sure is a lot of talk about the Republican war on women but no talk about the Democrats war on men. In the interest of fair and balance information, let’s look at a man’s world these days.

Under Obama, men have experienced significantly higher unemployment numbers than woman. Under Obama, a man’s ability to support his family has diminished as he falls backwards with higher food, gas and heating and cooling costs. The lack of jobs has enslaved and emasculated men as they are forced to draw unemployment. Obama’s nanny state has deprived men of the pride of being the bread winner. Men are in debt, unemployed and demoralized in numbers not seen before in our history. We cannot have healthy families without parents who are in the driver's seat. Fathers these days are feeling like pawns in the game of life. This administration has stripped men of their self esteem, robbed them of their ability to earn a living, and has demonstrated little to no empathy for these actions. Obama tops off the insults with the “you didn’t build that” remark. If there were any men left who were still possessing a bit of pride, the president tries to deny even that. What is happening to the men in our society is a shame. We need our men. Our families need fathers. Our mothers need partners. Our schools need male role models. So they can say there is a war on women. I would argue, there is a war on men. Stewart Andersen Englewood, FL
