The evil left derives itself mostly from the Evil Empire, a.k.a. the Soviet Union. The evil left is trying to unite all the evil forces it can against the United States and the good American people who wish to preserve the republic for themselves and their posterity. The evil left and its useful dupes, who - unfortunately - come in droves these days, pose an existential threat to this America. The Kyle Rittenhouse's trial and the aftermath of his acquittal made the evil left reveal its evil inner ego in front of our eyes, and what we saw was ugly, to say the least.
From the left-leaning media pundits to entertainment and sports celebrities to Democrats elected to their positions of power, they unloaded their disappointment and disgust with the verdict without slightest consideration of the damage that their venomous rhetoric might or did inflict to the exonerated Kyle Rittenhouse, his emotionally battered mother, and the due process of law with its presumption of innocence and Constitutionally-guaranteed rights of the accused. They mocked Kyle's emotional breakdowns and tears as "one of the worst acting jobs that [some of them] have ever seen", and characterized his crying on the witness stand and while listening to the verdict as "fake" or "white tears" - alleged props that he used in order to invoke his "white privilege". Some went as far as to declare that Kyle's defenders cynically "put the mother right in that courtroom and said 'Bring plenty of tissues', because the jury is looking at the mother crying."
Many attacked the outcome of the verdict with the ferocity that was unseen before, as if the facts and the laws did not matter, some resorting to character assassination by means of frivolous and false charges and unsubstantiated accusations. Some referred to the verdict as "white supremacy in action" that "validates the need to abolish our current [justice] system". "To call this [verdict] a miscarriage of justice is an understatement" wrote one of them. "This system isn’t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It’s why Black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free" added another. One powerful Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives called on the Department of Justice to launch an investigation of the trial as a "miscarriage of justice." Others have threatened exonerated Rittenhouse with federal charges of civil right violations of his assailants.
Psychopathic criminals have empathy switch
You see, the evil left may have all the empathy of the world for common criminals of all sorts that they consider politically close to their leftist cause, but their empathy ends when a good white guy whom they don't consider an ally is hurt, traumatized, exploited, or otherwise taken unfair advantage of. They called Rittenhouse, the civic-minded boy who defended himself from attacks of lawbreakers, a "white supremacist" and "vigilante" while at the same time declaring the attacking him lawbreakers and felons "heroes". They have soft hearts for today's Barabbases but show no mercy for a teenager who did no wrong.
How could such self-contradictory behavior of the evil left be explained?
An article "Psychopathic criminals have empathy switch" published in 2013 by BBC explains how it can happen.
The article begins with an insightful fact that "Psychopaths do not lack empathy, rather they can switch it on at will, according to new research." And then the article continues:
"Scientists [...] say their research explains how psychopaths can be both callous and charming.
"The ability to empathise with others - to put yourself in someone else's shoes - is crucial to social development in order to respond appropriately in everyday situations.
"Criminals with psychopathy characteristically show a reduced ability to empathise with others, including their victims. Evidence suggests they are also more likely to reoffend upon release than criminals without the psychiatric condition.
"Psychopathy is a personality disorder characterised by superficial charm, pathological lying and a diminished capacity for remorse."
That pretty much describes what the evil left did to Kyle Rittenhouse and his mother after he was acquitted of all charges by the jury of his peers in a criminal trial against him. Which makes it fairly obvious that a mature and devoted evil leftist must have an empathy switch with which he/she may turn his/her empathy on and off at will. This results in a typical evil-leftist behavior characterized by "genuine" empathy for selected common criminals and almost a total lack thereof for all those considered political adversaries, objectors, or nuisances. With mental capabilities of this sort, weaponization of supposedly non-partisan institutions and processes against the "right" is not surprising, any more. Then the evil leftists just break all the rules and laws they want, without a shade of remorse, in order to advance their political agenda of "liberation" of the "oppressed" form the "oppression" by their "oppressors", even if the "oppressors" are morally and legally beyond reproach and the "oppressed" are the ones who break the law, destroy property, and inflict harm to individuals and the society.

In other words, the science strongly suggests that the evil left is composed mostly of psychopaths, if one excludes multitudes of their (usually young and naive) useful dupes that submitted themselves to the left and its sick ideology.
It is worth mentioning here that other common traits that typically accompany psychopathic behavior include sub-standard intelligence quotient and propensity to (psychological) projection. The latter is a defensive trait that is defined as attribution of one's own (usually, sinister) propensities and tendencies to others. You might have already noticed that many Democrats have a habit of accusing others for their own wrongdoings; projection is the trait that explains such socially undesirable behavior.
From the perspective of the above-mentioned observations, the high-profile attackers of Kyle Rittenhouse and his acquittal are likely to be psychopaths with a propensity to projection and often not-so-stellar IQ. They often make "heroes" and "martyrs", if not "saints", of selected criminals and lawbreakers from the class that they declared "the oppressed", and show how merciful and compassionate they are towards the members of that class. At the same time, they spare no empathy or mercy for others.
Unfortunately for Kyle, he fell into that "others" category, with some trying to associate him with the "oppressor" class. So while normal Americans who cared to watch his trial and saw all the evidence and testimonies presented in the court feel for Kyle and passionately disapprove of clearly unfair attempt of the prosecution to frame him for murder and similar crimes as a "reward" for his civic-mindedness and willingness to protect the property where the law enforcement failed in doing so, the only wrong that the evil left can see in this entire process is that Kyle Rittenhouse has not been pronounced guilty and sent for 20 years or more to prison. And cries to punish him so sternly often come from officials who call for criminal justice system "reform" and are fast to release convicted criminals from jails and refuse to prosecute others.
Kyle Rittenhouse broke down in tears when the "not guilty" verdict was read, and I cried with him. Meanwhile, many Democratic politicians and their left-leaning allies from the media, sports, and entertainment world were able to keep their empathy switches turned off and heartlessly resorted to their hypocrisy, cynicism, and blind hostility towards the innocent teenager for no other reason than political gain, under their fake concerns for justice, humanity, and protection of the "oppressed". It was utterly wrong and immoral for them to do so. Just imagine what would they do to all those helpless individuals they disliked if they had this kind of monopoly on political power as their precursors and role models from the late Soviet ruling class used to have.
