The key to significant change at each level of government is in seizing the leadership positions within both houses of government

The Kansas GOP is a Microcosm of the National GOP!

Forty-nine of fifty states have completed their legal responsibility of redistricting for state and Federal House and Senate seats based upon the 2010 election. The one state that has still not met its redistricting responsibility is my state of Kansas. The fight within the state of Kansas GOP is a microcosm of the battle within the GOP at the national level.
Normally, when the process of redistricting is stalled, it is due to sharp divisions between Democrats and Republicans - normally! To be fair, both parties within the Kansas House were able to arrive at a satisfactory redistricting plan within a short timeframe. The same cannot be said of the Senate. In this case, incumbent Progressive Senate Republicans have dug in their heels to protect themselves from being forced to run against conservative Republicans. Thirty-two of the forty Senators are Republicans, but within the GOP, there are several ‘Republicrats.’ The Senate Republicrats, many in leadership positions, have continuously submitted redistricting plans designed to gerrymander boundaries to prevent any credible competition by qualified conservative Republicans who will actually represent their citizen/voter constituents. They, like the current occupant in the White House, have a record upon which they can’t run and win without attempting to rig the election. Because of the inability of the Kansas Senate to submit an acceptable redistricting plan, the Kansas Secretary of State is moving forward with a lawsuit designed to invite Federal judges to do what the Kansas Senate Republicrats have stubbornly been unwilling to do. If we researched these Republicrats’ family trees, I wonder if we would find they are related to the U. S. Senate Majority Leader, Dirty Harry Reid? They have learned to rope-a-dope to delay the redistricting of districts to enhance their opportunities of being re-elected.

Working backwards, Federal Law demands that ballots with candidates’ names must be available for being sent to military personnel overseas by June 23rd. In order to meet this mandate, ballots must be completed by June 11th. The longer the incumbent Republicrats delay the process, the better their chances of being re-elected. Until boundaries are established, challengers don’t know in which districts they will belong, or against whom they may be running. By law, candidates can’t solicit campaign contributions until they declare their intention to run for office, so each day that this legally required responsibility is delayed, challengers are stymied in their efforts to unseat the non-representative Republicrats. The delay also allows Republicrats to capitalize upon greater name recognition. This is quite a coup! There must be consequences for this Republicrat chicanery. For justice to be done, the Federal judges must draw boundaries that favor the challengers to offset the selfish delaying tactics of the Republicrats. While this addresses the state of disunion within the GOP in Kansas, this is a microcosm of the GOP at the Federal level. Following years of limited, to no true representation by the GOP elitists at state and Federal levels of government, the Republicrat elite are waking up to the fact that the conservative natives are restless. The Republicrat elitists are nervous, and they fighting dirty to retain their crowns, and the power and riches that come with their crowns. One definition of insanity is ‘doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result.’ This insanity extends to thinking the same politicians who have not represented the electorate while leading us to our current perdition will suddenly get religion (pun intended), and begin representing the electorate, instead of abusing the electorate. When you hear the word ‘entitlement,’ what comes to mind? Most people think of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. I challenge you to think of your Federal Representative and two Senators, and to a slightly lesser degree, your state Representative and Senator. Are they truly representing you and your ideals, working and living within the intent and limits of the U. S. and state constitutions? How long have they squatted in office at your expense of money and freedoms? How many unconstitutional agencies and departments, populated by millions of people, who, on average, are paid double what you in the private sector are earning while actually contributing to our economy, are sucking away your financial resources and freedoms to pursue the American dream offered by a dynamic economy? Isn’t it time that these entitlements are stopped? Many reform-minded voters have been disappointed by the lack of ability of elected TEA Party Movement Representatives and Senators to effect the changes upon which they campaigned at both the state and Federal levels. Most of these elected individuals are equally frustrated. They need reinforcements to complete the job. The key to significant change at each level of government is in seizing the leadership positions within both houses of government. The leadership positions are where the committee appointments are assigned. For genuine change to be realized, reform-minded GOP conservatives in elected office must outnumber the Republicrats so that the leaders elected from within both houses of government at both levels of government will come from the ranks of the reform-minded conservatives. We don’t have much time in which to reverse the perversions of the Democrats and Republicrats, and the 2012 Primary Election may be our last opportunity to boot the elitist bums from the state and Federal levels of government. With the mess both parties have put us in over the decades, it is going to take several elections to complete the electoral exorcism needed to purge the elite from the ranks, in order to restore our constitutional form of representative government. Considering the two choices we have for President, securing the leadership positions at the Federal level is even more important. The current Traitor-in-Chief has done everything possible to overthrow our constitutional republic from within our government. His assumed challenger, McRomney, was much more aggressive against his GOP rivals during the GOP Primary than he appears to be willing to be against the Traitor-in-Chief. Sadly, the McRomney candidacy appears to be a replay of the failed 2008 McCain candidacy. If elected, it appears he will be little more than a Tinkerer-in-Chief. To force responsible, constitutional reform, the efforts must come from the House and Senate. While the window of opportunity for reform and rescue is rapidly closing, we have seen encouraging signs of life by patriotic Republicans, voting in force, in Utah, Indiana, and Nebraska. We need a Federal Congressional colonoscopy to flush the system of those who have forsaken their responsibility of being servant-leaders for personal gain in wealth and power. Many states need a similar purge of their political cockroaches within their houses of government. Returning to Kansas GOP standoff, I trust the Federal judges will do the right thing in equalizing the scales of justice for our Primary Election. Provide Kansas voters with a genuine opportunity to have a true option in the General Election. Hopefully, the Kansas Republicrats will ride off into the sunset, akin to cowboys in an old western movie
