The Lumberjacks have ‘Greeced’ the Skids

In its headlong determination to crash the economy of the USA, the Obama lumberjacks in Congress and in appointed positions continue to cut down the redwoods of economic and political freedom indigenous to the USA, ‘Greecing’ the skids of our economy to implode within the next nine months.

Have you been following the economic crises in Greece, Portugal, Italy, Ireland and Spain? Are you eager to find yourself and our country under the same austerity measures being forced upon the citizens of these countries? What are you doing to prepare for when the perfect storm of political correctness, social justice and Keynesian economics clashes with the evaporation of the Bush tax cuts, the rolling in of the thunderous stealth-care costs and the empty guarantees of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform bill? On August 29th, ‘businessinsider.com’ reported that ‘Pay TV loses customers for the first time ever.’ On Monday, August 30th, ‘The Wall Street Journal’ reported that due to tight household budgets, the highest percentage of families in four decades lacks life insurance protection. On August 30th, ‘USA Today’ reported that the ‘Drudge Reports’ highlights that one-in-six Americans are now receiving government aid, and, in a separate article, it reported that ‘Shoppers Stick to Payday Purchases.’ On September 1st, several sources reported that ‘back-to-school’ sales were a bust! Now, reports are that the auto industry suffered its worst August since 1983, and the auto industry is touted as one of the bright spots in this slumping economy! Additionally, while sitting in for Rush Limbaugh on August 31st, Mark Belling commented that in the next few months, employers and employees will be faced with several challenging health insurance options. Employers can choose to absorb the mushrooming costs of health insurance, severely impacting their profits, split the increase in premiums with their employees, pass through the premium increases to their employees, or they can discontinue offering health insurance to their employees and pay a fine. This option will force employees to seek health insurance in the much more expensive ‘individual’ or ‘individual family’ policy market. No matter which of these options is chosen, with few exceptions, the benefits will not match those currently provided, while premiums, co-pays and deductibles will skyrocket. Isn’t Stealth-Care grand? Should they be routed in the mid-term elections as expected, are you braced for the Democrats swallowing the poison pill of vindictive legislation? Cap-&-Trade was shelved in a transparent attempt to salvage votes for Democratic candidates in trouble for having followed the Pied Pipers of Poverty in ramming Stealth-Care upon a resistant populace. Also, there is ‘Irksome’ Bowles and Alan ‘the Crank’ Simpson, crafting ‘Goebbels-like’ propaganda (Google: Nazi Quotations) designed to ram a Value-Added Tax (VAT) upon us. Similar to Stealth-Care, where all costs will skyrocket for considerably less protection, the VAT is another assault upon people’s income, and it will NOT add ANY value to the products or services purchased. Didn’t Candidate Obama promise that those earning less than $250,000.00 per year would not be subject to any increase in taxes? Progressive taxes are the most regressive taxes, stealing the most from those in the middle and the bottom, and stealing much needed liquidity from a floundering economy! How does this help improve our hideous employment environment? Do you think those in Washington, D. C. give a rat’s rump about what you want, or what you can afford?

The Obama lumberjacks just keep hacking away at the American Dream

Peering into 2011, with all of the increases in health-care cost and the sunset of the Bush tax cuts, fewer people will be able to pay off Christmas expenses, or fund retirement programs (i. e., IRAs, Roth IRAs, etc.), stealing traditional, first-quarter cash inflows to boost the stock markets, and stealing from families’ future financial security. Has it occurred to you that those imposing these costs and taxes enjoy considerable financial resources and/or are exempt from their own legislation? Do you miss GWB yet? What a reward for military personnel and private contractors, to be returning to a moribund employment environment. What an insult to those who served in our military to come home to a man-caused disaster. The Cloward & Piven Petri dish of ‘orchestrated crises’ is an incubation center for coordinated conflict and chaos. Gaze to the East, across the pond, to see our near-term reality. President Obama has been the most effective President in generations, if crashing our economy and stealing our freedoms is the yardstick for success. The Obama lumberjacks just keep hacking away at the American Dream. Mmm-Mmm-Mmm!
