The media excoriating Donald Trump
Few media outlets are willing to call Obama on the carpet
As a conservative who has an honest desire to understand the major divides in our country and has a sincere yearning to bridge the gap, I am perplexed by many things but let's address just one.
The media has excoriated Donald Trump for what he did not say regarding a question on the President's religion. And, the press has blown up over Dr. Ben Carson's assertion that a Muslim should not be President unless they swear to put the United States Constitution ahead of their religion.
Here's my issue: this is the same press that has totally and completely refused to even talk about the numerous times that Pres. Obama has said that he is a Muslim. They have ignored incidents where this President has tilted the scales in favor of Islam. Just his refusal to call terrorism what it is highlights his bias. The list is very long: Gitmo, Benghazi, Iran all show us where his loyalties lie.
Pitifully few media outlets are willing to call this President on the carpet. By the way, this is the same slanted coverage that protects Hillary Clinton in the face of her lies and power brokering.
The best way to bridge the gap is for there to be equal and open coverage of everybody.
