The Party of ‘Choice?’

As we head into the midterm elections, let’s make sure we know the issues and the players.

The Democrat Party parades itself as the party of ‘choice,’ as in ‘pro-choice’ on the abortion issue. Is it really the party of ‘choice?’ The last incandescent light bulb plant in the U. S. is closing because we are being forced to accept the lies of the eco-wackos, and Cap-&-Tax is lurking! Which party is hip-deep in the sheep dip of eco-mania? No Democrat is running for office on the ‘successful’ ramming of Stealth-Care upon a resistant and misrepresented public. Within this enormous power grab, there are many mandates, including the mandate that everyone purchase health insurance, regardless if he/she wants it, or can afford it. Where is the choice here? If you are a business owner, how do you like the reality that you must either offer health insurance, or pay a fine? And ‘experts’ are consistently puzzled about our tepid economy and why employment numbers are moribund! Didn’t virtually every proponent of the Stealth-Care power grab promise us that the bill would not cover taxpayer-funded abortions? So, after passing the power grab to find out what is in it, aren’t abortions mandated to be covered? Not only has the ‘choice’ of those whose religious beliefs that prohibit abortions been stolen, but how can any thinking person ever believe any of the liars ever again? Won’t privacy and anonymity be stolen if unions are successful in the passage of ‘card check?’ Won’t that be like using a public restroom with the door wide open? Whose ‘choice’ is being protected here? Which party is salivating at the prospect of passing the purposely-misnamed Value Added Tax (VAT) to steal more of people’s income? No ‘value’ is added to any product or service, it is a very regressive tax, hurting those at the bottom much more than any other segment of society, and, on average, government expenditures mushroom by 44%! Who, in their right mind, would welcome such a devastating theft of money and quality of life? Will we be given a ‘choice’ on this, or will it be ‘Deemed Passed’ by the narcissistic egos of Congress? Do you like salt, sugar, fast food? Are you ready for more regulation, fewer freedoms, and fewer choices? Do you live and make your living along the Gulf of Mexico? How did you like the drilling ban imposed by the puppet, Salazar, taking advantage of the spill crisis? Wasn’t this ‘salt water’ in the wound of lost income due to the spill? Was this your choice? Circling back to the pro-choice/pro-life issue, excluding cases of rape or incest, wasn’t the choice of having sex made by both participating parties? If a person is held legally responsible for choosing to drink and drive, shouldn’t the pair that chooses to participate in sex be held responsible for their actions, and the life they have created? After all, if a drunk can be held responsible for the deaths of a pregnant woman and her child in the womb, how can it be morally or ethically acceptable to have a licensed physician snuff the life out of an innocent life in the womb? Even more disturbing is the acceptance of savage, ‘partial-birth’ abortion? When you choose to enter the voting booth, remember which candidate will champion a wide range of your choices. Most of all, remember that your mother chose life, your life!
