The Pope and Obama are alike in many ways!

Nice article, Judi, "Save the Environment... from Vatican". It is a shame we don't have a strong "spiritual leader" in the Vatican at this time in history.

As you point out in this piece and previous ones about the Pope, there are so many other things we would like to see him acting on. I feel at this stage of the game, he needs to be "preaching to his flock" the growing danger of Islam and what we need to do to fight it. As you know, Islam goes against everything a Christian believes in and stands for. There is so much evil in today's world that needs addressing; Abortions, drugs, same sex marriage, sex trafficking, pornography ...... and on and on. These topics would require a real game plan and "strategy" to tackle - guess the Pope and Obama are alike in many ways! Climate change is much easier and safer route. Don't know about how other Christians feel but I want a leader who is not afraid to take the more difficult route and truly make a difference addressing "real" problems we face today.
