Follow up an vile SB 266 California Sex-segreation bill

The power of Canada Free Press readers

Wow ! I can only say Wow! Due to the overwhelming response by callers to California Assembly member Paula Brownley (D), the chairperson of the State Education Committee, the disgusting AB 266 bill has been pulled off the calendar for imminent passage and awaiting a Governor Brown signature.

As the author of this commentary which posted nationally on canadafreepress.com, I can only say the response from across the country was overwhelming. Sponsors of the Bill which would have eradicated same-sex segregation of all K-12 programs including interscholastic sports, removed the Bill from consideration. If passed into law, the Bill would allow the pupil to determine his or her choice of gender, irrespective of pupil's records. I can only attribute the success of kicking this vile piece of legislation from advancing is the response from canadafreepress readers. The primary and sole reason supporters of this bill saw the light and removed it from future consideration can only be attributed to the exposure on Canada Free Press. The power of the people does in fact work. May I take this opportunity to thank every reader who called the Committee and voice their indignation. Way to go !! Take back America 2012. Roger Gitlin
