The rat pack-style of mainstream media reporters who write books

We don’t know how many Washington Post reporters it takes to screw in a light bulb but we do know it takes more than 24 of them to try to screw Donald J. Trump in a rushed-to-launch book. “More than “two dozen” Washington Post reporters contributed to a book published Tuesday that attacks Donald Trump.” (Daily Caller) That should tell us what WaPo reporters do with their time when they’re not spewing drivel in the bylined ‘stories’ their newspaper publishes.

Reporters who used to cover the news, giving both sides of the story, are now working in the election campaign of Hillary Clinton. As Justin Raimondo of the Los Angeles Times points out, “To fight Trump, journalists have dispensed with objectivity.” It must be so Al Gore-convenient not to have to pretend to be objective anymore. Consider the upfront arrogance of 24-plus reporters who have convinced themselves that the unwashed masses sat around waiting for a book entitled, ‘Trump Revealed: An American Journey of Ambition, Ego, Money, and Power’. The reporters got it wrong from the get-go, as the title more accurately describes Hillary Clinton. These egotistical reporters who patently ignored the “American Journey of Ambition, Ego, Money, and Power” of Barack Hussein Obama and sidekick Hillary Rodham Clinton must have convinced themselves that thousands of Americans will stampede to acquire copies of their rushed-to-launch tome.

It takes only a little imagination to picture them waiting between slurps of mocha lattés for sure-to-come fame and fortune. Today’s reporters would be the last to understand that many, if not most average Americans, are too busy and too broke to read reporters’ books; too busy slogging it out to make this month’s rent, or mortgage payment; too worried about how safe their children will be in schools that have been ordered to share their washrooms with transgenders; schools where common core curriculum leads in the indoctrination that now replaces education in most public schools. Like the politicians they cover, many reporters, send their kids to private schools where transgender bathrooms aren’t part of the learning curve. Mainstream media don’t report on the news any more, but go all out protecting politicians from the public at large from knowing what they’re up to. ‘Trump Revealed: An American Journey of Ambition, Ego, Money, and Power’ reveals that Donald Trump barely finds time to read, keeps no computer on his desk and avoids reading extensive reports or briefings. Wow, what a scoop!

Yesterday’s news that Hillary Clinton classifies Americans who support Trump as members of “neo-Nazi and white supremacist movements” went right over the WaPo reporters’ heads. “A video released Thursday by Hillary Clinton’s campaign makes the case that Donald Trump is the candidate of racists, white supremacists and neo-Nazis. (Politico, Aug. 25, 2016)

“The reason a lot of Klan members like Donald Trump is because a lot of what he believes, we believe in,” a robed man identified as the Imperial Wizard of the Rebel Brigade Knights of the Ku Klux Klan says at the top of the video, followed by images of a Confederate flag fluttering in the wind, Trump waving after a speech, and a man performing a Hitler salute at what appears to be a Trump rally. “The video’s release comes on the same day that Clinton is scheduled to deliver a speech on the so-called “alt-right” political movement, which has formed much of Trump’s base from the beginning of his campaign. In the video, an unidentified voice labels the alt-right as “the sort of dressed-up-in-suits version of the neo-Nazi and white supremacist movements.” “The video specifically attacks newly hired Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon over his previous job running Breitbart News, widely considered to be the most prominent alt-right media outlet. An unnamed member of a CNN panel attacks Bannon as “a campaign chair that ran a website that has become a field day for the alt-right, which is racist and all sorts of other ‘ists.’” “Trump's campaign quickly issued a statement in response to the video from Mark Burns, a pastor with close ties to the campaign who spoke at the Republican National Convention last month in Cleveland. Burns said the video represented a "disgusting new low" for Clinton and her campaign. "Hillary Clinton and her campaign went to a disgusting new low today as they released a video tying the Trump Campaign with horrific racial images," Burns said in the statement emailed out by the Trump campaign. "This type of rhetoric and repulsive advertising is revolting and completely beyond the pale. I call on Hillary Clinton to disavow this video and her campaign for this sickening act that has no place in our world."

The mainstream media have become the running dogs of Democrat politicians and God help Breitbart or any other media outlet who don’t see things the same way. The real story of our times is that the same media who sat idly by for almost eight years while the Obama administration ruined their own country, are now smearing Donald Trump and his supporters working to rescue America. Meanwhile, just to survive between now and Election Day folk should follow the same lesson Clinton took from one of her role models, Eleanor Roosevelt: “Grow skin like a rhinoceros”.
